I find as someone who works in food service anyone who owns a restaurant not having any experience working in a restaurant themselves to be a major red flag. The ownership absolutely reflected how management was handled and barely being involved with the Grand Rapids location but also making changes without making themselves more present to see for themselves and based off of numbers is Clearly showing you don't care about your employees' well-being. The audacity to increase the prices of your menu items (a majority of the ingredients come from GFS and we all know that the quality of GFS is disgusting so what exactly are you charging so much more for?) but then cut hours of people who are hard workers and did not cause any problems. Insane how I was punished with my hours but meanwhile they let the sous chef who was verbally abusive towards myself and my other coworkers both in the kitchen and front of house continue to have his hours and position without Reprimanding him appropriately. I should have known that this place was no longer a safe place to work nor accepting of minorities when they took down the rainbow flag long before i left. If you are part of the LGBTQ community or if you are a person of color you will be treated poorly here
It is a little small, but the amount of beers makes it worth the time. You order food at the bar, which is actually nice. They bring it to your table. No one is interrupting, asking how things are going. Nice change. This place is fully sprinklered.
Wow! Great selection of beers (this is a tap room not a brewery). Service was great and we split a smash burger and fries. The fries are money and the burger was delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Visiting TC and several local breweries while in the area. This one was the only disappointing one of them all. Employee was not helpful at all and was more engaged in washing dishes. We came to buy some beer but chose not to. Instead we went to another brewery and spent our $$$.

Visited 7 Monks Taproom around 9pm. The soup was great especially since it was chilly outside. I got the chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and I really enjoyed the fries. The chicken was a little over done in the fryer. Overall a positive experience especially with the kitchen being late.

Food was very good. But the best part of our night was Joe our waiter. His beer recommendations were spot on and his demeanor was extra special. Great guy. Thank you Joe.
Great drink menu and good bar food. I got the friend chicken sandwich and my husband got the “spicy” Mac and cheese. My sandwich was great and the waffle sweet potato fries were awesome. The chicken on the Mac and cheese wasn’t spicy even though it was advertised as such, but Mac and cheese was very creamy and good. Our server Krista was great. Beware if you get a flight that it can be quite expensive - my flight was $22.50 for 4 samples and it is just 25% off each full price beer - definitely recommend 2 or 3 full pours instead of the flight. Will still be back.
