My grandma had sent me two gift cards for $50 each for Christmas, so decided to stop in since I was in town. The restaurant itself is typical Applebee's. It looks a bit outdated. Kind of dingy as well. Myself, as well as the person I was with both ordered the Ribeye steak. Sadly the steak kind of tastes and looks like it's that man made, glued together kind. It definitely is not quality steak for the price you are paying. The appetizer tray is delicious. The manager was walking around checking on tables which was nice. The waitress seemed nice, although we had to ask another waitress for refills a couple of times. When it was time to pay I gave the waitress the two gift cards to pay with. She brought back the receipt that showed I had $30 and some change left on one of them. I stuck it back in my wallet and took out cash for the tip and left it on the table. Sadly last night I went online to check my gift card to see exactly how much was left on it as I'm driving through Traverse City today, and see that the waitress helped herself to an extra $15 tip. I was in a bit of a hurry, and I did not bring the receipt off the table so I guess that was my mistake. I didn't even know you could tip from a gift card, so like I said, I left cash. I don't remember her name, or even what she looked like. But still I do not think this was a kind or honest thing for her to do. I am a generous tipper. I understand that people work for tips, and have bill's and families.
But I don't feel like she deserved such a large tip, especially after having to stop other waitresses to keep our drinks full. But the biggest issue for me is the dishonesty. Especially knowing that you already collected a tip.

I ordered food from doordash and I ordered a steak well done it was definitely not well done. I called the restaurant and the girl who answered said she couldn't help me and told me to contact doordash so when I did they only wanted to give 5 dollars. I feel like applebees should of done something because they are the ones that made it.

Restaurant was moderately busy. Asked waiter a couple times for a few things and did not expect for them to come instantly, but they never came. I had to walk up to bar to get some things and manager delivered them but did not ask how anything was going. I wish the manager interacted with customers more.

Really good experience. The food was Applebee's food, pretty good. Typical Applebee's atmosphere. The thing that made my stop special was the people. My wife and I really felt comfortable there. Pleasant hostess, great waitress, and everyone we encountered was kind. The best part was they didn't over sell it. The good nature of the place felt very genuine.
If you like Applebee's this is one to stop at.

My delivery was very late and cold the soup was spilled inside the pkg leaking everywhere creating a mess for me to clean up.
The food could have come tainted food poisoning.
Everything was not good and I was offere. A ten dollar compensation for credit not even a refund! Not even close to the damage ordering through Applebees caused me and the mess to be offered a ten dollar credit is a disgrace.
Join me in never ordering from a company that is positing their customers and lack moral and legal judgement about

Have come here a few times for lunch. Food is usually pretty good but this last time my steak tasted odd. It wasn't the seasoning but the meat itself that was off. They had a few large groups so I didn't want to make it difficult for the server and let it be. I got a side of the mac and cheese with bacon and the bacon was VERY lacking... usually it's the perfect amount but I'm assuming they were at the bottom of the bag and only had the tiny crumbs left. We also got a sandwich that comes with fries and a pop but we never received the pop but were still charged for it. We had gotten some waters to start so it wasn't a big deal, and it was the lunch rush so we were being patient. Our waters were low and our server came over and asked if we wanted refills - yes please! I think we waited another 5-10min for them to come and our server was nowhere to be seen - maybe she was taking a break but we were almost finished with the food when the refills came so at that point they were unnecessary. I believe the manager was hovering over her the entire time as he was kind of just there. I think she was nervous because her demeanor changed when he was behind her. I was going to leave a review from the receipt but it was lost in the car ride home.

Parking: Lots of parking. Leaving can be challenge if turning left.

We went here and the service left a bit to be desired. Usually it is a great experience but today needed work. The manager, Jaime H. was very helpful and made everything right. I will return but will never have that server again.

Quick and to the point with Buffalo wings included!

We were quickly greeted and brought to a table, the place was very busy. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable but she did not let us know that we had qualified for free Buffalo wings- good thing we read one of the signs on the door.

We got the brownie bite and the blondie and two White Russians. Buffalo wings free every Monday with a minimum purchase for something to do with the nfl.

Had not been here in over 10 years until recently. They have definitely upped their game. Food and service has been great everytime!!

Kid-friendliness: Our 1yr came and had a delicious plain chicken breast.
