Food is usually good. Sometimes the buffet food isn't hot

Many options on the buffet. Seem to have something for everyone. The dishes I tried were flavorful, (and I did try many!). Staff attentive, always cleaning used plates, offering refills, and asking if you need anything.
I would go back, the food selection was incredible for the price.

Food was fairly expensive and flavor just wasn't there. The corn dogs even though coated need more seasoning and the soup was $17 which was very high and was also flavor lacking. Staff was kind.

Stopped in for dinner, the restaurant buffet had a nice selection of Asian dishes and a nice dessert bar including a Hibachi grill. The staff was attentive and the restaurant was clean. It one of the nicer Asian buffets I have went to. The price was reasonable for the selections of food on the buffet.Would definitely return and recommend

Great selection as well as variety of food. My favorite is the peanut butter chicken. They also do a great job on their hibachi grill for no additional charge (don't forget to tip). My wife and I just watched a large group of high schoolers swarm in during lunch today (30-40)and the staff handled them with out missing a beat! They were able to serve the large crowd efficiently and the food bar never ran short. We were impressed! They also have a wonderful sushi bar and plenty of desserts available.

Food was delicious! Lots to choose from!
The food here is often not warm enough and cold by the time you get back to your table. There's no orange chicken, and the desserts completely suck.

All the dishes I had were tasty & there was plenty of variety. The staff was prompt & the restaurant was clean. Price was a little higher but I feel that may be because of tourism. Would go again.

Clean restaurant and hot food. Great staff. We had a large group and they made it work quickly. Wish you could add your own sauce like at other hibachi places but it was still good. Week day kids buffets were 10 at lunch time adults 15.
Wait staff was not very pleasant. Food was good. Definitely ate too much!

It's $19.39 per adult after tax is applied (weekday dinner).
I've been to every Asian buffets in Metro Detroit and also some Asian Buffets in many other cities. I will say this is only better than 10% of the buffets I've been to. The Asian food scene isn't the greatest in Traverse City so I understand there isn't much competition to weed out the mediocre Asian restaurants here. Was the price worth it? Not really, but you don't really have a choice if you're craving an Asian buffet.
This is a mainly a Chinese buffet and they do NOT offer table top Korean BBQ. I'm not sure why this business has Korean BBQ in their photos.
Biggest issues:
- Old food being left out. Example: The asparagus was so dehydrated there were more wrinkles than your grandma. You could literally see the individual plant fibers.
- Low variety of dinner items
- Sushi had way too much rice (to try to fill up the customer)
- Very low quality sushi with thin slices of weird colored salmon on a roll.
- For dessert, other than a few choices of fruit, not much other options. Why put out cheap dry looking shortbread cookies to take up space if you know nobody will eat it? Gee I wonder.
I don't care for much of the service or atmosphere because I go for the food, therefore, 2 stars.
