We stopped here on a whim because my husband loves (non-vegan)tacos and they had vegan options for me. It ended up being my favorite meal in a while! I had the El Jefe's Selection vegan bowl (vegan chorizo) and it was SO flavorful! Their standard salsa was also incredible. I'm generally not a salsa fan because it just tastes like spicy tomatoes, but this one had lots of seasonings and was delicious. We bought a pint of it to go! And the homemade chips were salty and crisp..... seriously, everything was so good. We will absolutely be back.
Awful service. Went there for dinner and it was pretty dead but was only able to order one drink due to server never showing back up to the table. I could understand if it was busy but the place was empty.
Admittedly, we are from Texas, so we have some high standards for Mexican food. That being said, most of our party felt like we could get a better meal from Chipotle.
I do have a few compliments— everyone who served us was fantastic, the mural and decor is nice, and I liked the way you fill in your own order on a sheet. Unfortunately, these were the highlights. The food took forever to arrive and fell very short of fantastic. We had chips and guacamole as an appetizer. The salsa was a bit off and the guacamole was extremely bland. The meals were mediocre, and we actually sent one back for being spicy when none of the ingredients were marked as spicy (which our wonderful waitress got taken off the bill). Probably will not be returning.
Cool atmosphere! Only have a 4 because didn't eat.
There was 4 including me in my group. We were finally greeted by our server 15 minutes after being seated. she didn’t check on us at all while we waited for our food. I don’t mind waiting but we waited over an hour for 2 bowls and 10 tacos. When it all came out it was cold and we were missing a specialty taco. The food was okay but service overall was not great.
Super place for a casual dinner with a large group. The restaurant made sure our group of 9 plus a dog were seated in a good location. We added another big group later and they made space for them as well. Food was good, the make your own tacos had many choices. Of the pre-designed tacos, the smashburger one as well as the el jefe were most notable. Drinks were made with good liquor and were strong and tasty.
Lastly, a big shoutout to Hailey for being patient and available for the group as I know managing a big group is always a challenge.
Guac was a bit too garlicky but the salsa was great and their special sauce is amazing
A unique taco joint. Love the variety of guacamole and queso dips. Bacon Habanero guacamole was awesome, with a nice balance of flavor and sweet that was not hot. Tacos are build your own, or there is a specialty menu. Our server Caden was a sweet heart and kept our waters full was we recovered from cherry fest fun!
Great atmosphere! Tacos were great. Only a four star because waiter forgot our chips and salsa
They have vegan options so we decided to stop in for a quick bite while out shopping and brewery hopping. We were pleasantly surprised by how fresh everything was. We ordered two custom tacos, one with the mushrooms and one with the beer-braised black beans, and they were delicious! The chips and salsa were awesome too, we got extra to go! I had the Guava No-Jito and it was very tasty. We'll definitely be coming back.
$6 for a single taco might seem like a lot, but these are legit worth it. My husband wishes he got just 1 instead of 2, because he was struggling to finish the 2nd one. Those ARE $6 tacos. I had the al pastor cauliflower rice bowl with the sauces on the side to control the spiciness, and it was pretty tasty too (yay 40's, spicy=heartburn now).

Stopped by after dinner to check out the very impressive and extensive tequila offerings. We will be back to try the tacos next time.

I have been to this location before and had great service and food but this time around it was just awful. Our server would leave us for 20 minutes without checking in with us. When we asked him if he wants to take our order he said, "No" ?? So he didn't take them. I ordered a tequila sunrise, and it was not a tequila sunrise(more like water, grenadine, and tequila, no orange juice in it at all) and when I politly asked if he could take it back he was very condecending and rude about it.
One of my friends wanted clarification on her order and our server was condecending and rude about that as well.
When he finally came back again after another 15-20 minutes to check on us we asked him again if he could take our orders and he was almost like surprised that they haven't been taken...like what??
Tables that arrived after us and had more people at their table had their drinks, appetizers, food, and bill while we were stuck waiting 20 minutes between seeing our waiter. Some of those tables were his too!
Then it took 30 minutes to get our food and when it came out mine was ice cold. So disapointing. I couldn't even finish it. Used to be one of my favorite restaurants but I don't think I'll ever go back there.

Food was absolutely amazing! My husband got tacos off the menu and I made my own bowl. Top notch food. Service was a bit lacking - we had to flag him down several times (as did tables around us), but the atmosphere was great. Definitely more geared towards adult outings, but could be kid friendly too. They had crayon packets and kids menus (our little is too young yet for restaurant food, but they offered it).
