Honestly wasn't crazy about the drinks at all. The menu could use a huge upgrade. But the view was cool and bartender Cody? Was very friendly.

As many other locals, we used to be frequent customer on weekends, with draw being music by awesome musician Jim Hawley and his talented crew.
There was no food service. Cody was excellent bartender! The view never got old. With that being said, mgmt decision to end Jim Hawley’s entertainment, stopped us and many others from returning. It’s a shame what used to be a packed house on weekends, (with $$$$ money being spent) is no longer.

We stopped in at the end of our Friday night while visiting. The drinks were great and they had live music. It ended up being a small but lively crowd! The bartenders were incredible behind the bar and very personable. Worth it for the view!

The view is what makes this place. Small bar with a few tables and about 6 or 8 bar stools, a bit older feel, but fantastic view over Traverse City. It's not what it once was prepandemic. Hopefully, they can bring back that same vibe and elevation. They do offer small plates in the summer season. No gluten-free options but includes tapas like margarita pizza, white fish dip (they were out of today), firecracker shrimp, wings, fried potato nachos, a potato pizza (I hear that's pretty good), and a few more items.Evan, the bartender, was friendly and remembered our drink orders from the previous visit. It's definitely worth the visit for the view while having a few cocktails ? and hoping they do a bit more with ambiance and vibe/energy of place to enhance the experience.

Cody was wonderful, served me up a delish Raspberry Martini with a side of great personality. Also saw him being extra, and taking pictures for his customers. I'm in customer service and can recognize going above and beyond. Kelley also stuck out (though she didn't serve me, I had Cody) because she apologized to the next customers about something beyond her control and tried to rectify it.
So we were sitting at the bar and listened to the bartender argue with the server about she was closing the bar promptly when the band ended at 10:00. This was while the bar was so busy they were turning people away due to capacity. At about 9:40 they suddenly had a “computer problem” so they couldn’t take new orders yet the computers were completely functional for closing out tabs. I don’t believe there was any real computer problem other than the bartender wanted to go home early. If i owned this bar I would be making changes as I saw hundreds of dollars in potential revenue turned away for no reason at all. I’ve visited this place many times over the years and they have always had a great atmosphere and fit people in even sitting on the windowsills. This gem was why I stayed at the Park Place, but I probably won’t bother in the future.
Our favorite place before or after dinner in TC. Great views all year round.
This is such a nice place for a night cap. The bartender was super sweet. Good variety to drink. View is amazing.
