I love this place for breakfast. The new owner is awesome! Way better customer service. Management can make such a difference. I'm finally a frequent flier there again.

I love this place. This morning I placed an online order for two cinnamon-raisin bagels with cream cheese on the side while I was out and about running errands. I paid for my order with Apple Pay. When I got to Big Apple Bagels I was met by a young lady who made my day with her bright smile and happy outlook. She made my day. Now look, I've been coming here for years and every time they hit it out of the park. The atmosphere for eating in is fine, nothing fancy, but it does the trick. The bagels on the other hand are amazing. And so are their breakfast sandwiches, muffins and pastries. I am just so impressed with this place. It's one of my two favorite places to pick up bagels on the go or stop in and chill with a bagel and cup of coffee. Thanks Big Apple Bagels for representing Traverse City so well. You guys are terrific. Harry Phillips, Old Mission Peninsula.

Didn’t want to do this but after getting my order wrong four times in a row on four different occasions, I will no longer be spending any time or money at this business anymore. They have what I believe is the owner or main boss working the register who’s always under the influence of something or something, always wearing sunglasses indoors trying to hide that he’s high or something. Stumbling his words. I shouldn’t have to thoroughly check my order fully every single time I order because you guys constantly mess things up. Do better for others, but you won’t get my business anymore. Shameful.

Oh, they tried to make it up to me the fourth time with a soda. At 9:30am. A soda.

I would give it 100 stars if I could. Ive been coming here for about 7 years. Every time Im in town, I have to stop and get a bagel and lox. Perfect amount of lox to cream cheese. Bagel was fresh and tasted great. The owner Ryan, was at the counter and made several suggestions, but Im a creature of habit so I went with my usual. I found out he moved back to TC and took over ownership about 3 years ago. He even brough it out to me and checked on me a few times to make sure I had what I needed as I was able to sit and work remotely as I ate my bagel and drank my tea. I dont have a place like this where I live so its a nice treat to come here. Ryan is a super chill dude and his staff is great.

The bagels are consistently good, but as with everywhere else in TC, sandwiches and meals are progressively more expensive every year/season and are now too expensive, so we just enjoy a bagel and shmear.
The service is okay but people don’t go out of their way to be welcoming or friendly when ordering or picking up.
It is well maintained but something is up with their drink fountain (too much/little carbonation/tea tastes bad) that seems to get fixed then goes bad again a week or so later.

Used to like this place as a treat once in a while but the consistency and quality has been bad. Ordered a ham and cheddar way less meat than used to and no lettuce or tomato. Also no bagel chips like I used to get. I always tip and the staff is friendly. For almost $30 for two sandwiches it's not worth the risk. I think I'm done with this place.

A classic deli place that serves muffins, salads, bagels, and delicious sandwiches. The sandwiches are customizable and full of flavor. The salads are huge and very filling.

I LOVE bagels, and I’ve always historically loved BABs, but today was very disappointing. A young male worker watched a very elderly and frail gentleman spill coffee all over himself and the floor while he was being delivered his food. Instead of helping, the worker just walked away without acknowledging the man needed assistance. Another patron actually helped the man clean up himself and the floor and even offered to help the man back to his vehicle. When I got home with my bagel I opened to find that there was hardly any cream cheese on it.
