As a Marriott platinum elite, I was very disappointed in this location. The room was fair, but considering what I paid not at all worth it. My biggest issue is that the glass in my room was held together with packing tape. That is absolutely unacceptable to me. the management said they would look into it but I never heard anything. I believe I should've been given some kind of compensation for that. Need benches outside so you can sit to wait on people. Need trash cans outside on entry circle as well.

I like to say thank you to courtyard for helping make my son’s wedding special . Everyone from friends to family had No problem with their check in. We were happy to see the coffee shop open after a long drive. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I recommend staying here

We stayed for one night on our way to Traverse City. The room was clean but the hotel experienced an electrical outage. We were able to get our key to the room, but no lights or any electricity. The indoor pool was also locked down so no swimming. We just left for dinner and when we returned a few hours later the electrical was on. Still could not access the indoor pool which was one of the reasons we choose this Marriott location. Oh well . . . just bad luck starting out on our getaway!

Really friendly staff, free laundry and overall nice facility. Cleanliness wasn't very impressive. There were what looked like fruit flies hanging out in the sink and some not so pleasant greenish blackish growth in the walls in the shower (mold maybe). A little underwhelmed overall but not horrible.

We stayed here for 2 nights because my husband won the 2 nights through work. Housekeeping never came after our first night so I called and when housekeeping came, she had a poor attitude. I told her that we only needed towels and the garbages emptied because we were back in the room at this point. Upon leaving this morning, my husband was told that we don’t get the receipt because it’s paid for by a third party. I check our credit card and we have two separate charges for $350 for incidentals. After speaking to 3 different people and 13 minutes of wasted time on the phone, the manager finally got it right. This hotel is very basic and way overpriced.

On a multi state trip and stayed exclusively at Marriotts. This place by far was the nicest place we’ve stayed at. Staff was very friendly. Rooms are very clean and show no signs of wear. Food is very good. Sales manager Heather was very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely stay here again

We booked the Marriott Traverse City to stay for our wedding along with our guests. We had an amazing experience! The staff, management, housekeeping, and cafe staff all were incredible! The staff made sure all of our wedding guests were taken care of. The rooms were clean, large, and just what everyone needed. We cant wait to come back here and visit and stay! Would recommend for large groups or small getaways!

We really enjoyed our stay. Brandon at the front desk was great. Room was clean and nice. Pool and hot tub were great. We got food one night and it was very good as well. Full bar and they also serve Starbucks coffee as well. Very enjoyable stay, we will be back.

So I’m a part of a band and we ALWAYS get in late to our hotels! Well this particular night I was NOT having a good night but when I got to this establishment I was greeted by Cody. He came up to the desk with a smile and such positive vibes he changed my entire mood INSTANTLY!!!! Cody was such a big help even tho it was late he treated us as if it were early morning during prime business. THANK YOU CODY!!!!!!!!

I will start with the two positives. First, the lobby is inviting and second the front desk supervisor on second shift upon check in was very nice. Now the honest facts on the hotel. The hotel is dirty, disgusting, unkept and unclean. I couldn’t believe as a lifetime platinum this hotel was so unkept. Stains on carpet very dirty, stains on rug, stains on towels, pet dander and long hairs in the both tub/shower on the wall and tub. It was so disgusting we didn’t let our kid shower before checking and leaving the hotel. Don’t be fooled by the lobby, the hotel is absolutely below a Marriott standard! This was more like a Hojo or knights inn quality. Oh… it was also $350. Yep…. Disgusting!! We literally went to lobby, had coffee and picked the hairs off our cloths from sitting on the comforter before leaving the room. I’m allergic to pet dander so it made for a miserable day.

We booked this online hoping it was acceptable, we were super happy from the minute walking in the door! The long was clean and very inviting, the hallways smelled clean , once we made it to the room it felt like someplace I would call home, super clean and acomidating , the beds were obnoxiously comfortable my wife had to keep elbowing me becouse I was snoring so loud ! ( sorry) We travel north 2-4 times a year and will stay no where else than here! Thank you !

Five star staff at a two star hotel= 3 stars We've had great interactions with front desk staff who are always ready to help and quick to respond to requests. We have really appreciated them during our visit. Definitely five stars for the staff! The hotel itself was disappointing. Our first room seemed okay at first glance but then the bathroom was in really rough shape. The wallpaper was rolling up from the bottom and peeling from the seams, there was mold on the wall, and rust and grime lined the edge of the shower. I called the front desk who found us a new room right away. Our new room was next to the elevator but we couldn't hear it at all, so that was fine. The bathroom was better but the shower still needs some updating. The drain was slow and the shower could use some caulk. It was a little rusty in the corners but at least the wallpaper wasn't peeling, so that was a win. There was a stain on the sofa, so we put a sheet on top of it. It was super uncomfortable anyway so it didn't matter much. The hotel is about 4 miles to downtown, so I'm guessing that's how they can charge top dollar for these digs. This is considered a category five hotel by Marriott, which is really shocking. It should be a category two at best.

After seeing so many reviews about how clean this property was, I was pretty surprised when we checked into our room. Went to put some bottles of water in the fridge and there was a Hot Pockets in there from a previous guest. As soon as I sat down on the ottoman, I spotted a piece of candy near the foot of the bed. The bathroom was the worst. There was pink mold/mildew all around the inside of the shower. The toilet had a disgusting stain in the bottom and scum around the water line. While most hotels are offering disinfectant wipes in the room, 2 packets of hand sanitizer were offered here. Our room was located on the backside of the property which offered a nice view of trees. It was very quiet except for the partiers out back until 2:30am! Mattress was very hard. Wifi here isn’t the best either. Not steady so I finally gave up on that! Stopped at the Marketplace to get a snack one night and it was practically empty. It was even worse when we checked out. I will say that the associates at the front desk when checking in and out were both very nice. I also understand that EVERYONE is having a hard time finding people to work, but cleanliness should be a priority.

Nice and clean rooms. Nice staff. But with the price I paid to stay here one night they should have a free continental breakfast. It is located very close to shopping. Not alot of good food places around this town in my opinion.
