Consistently a high quality dinning experience. Good food, views and atmosphere. A must stop on one's trip Up North!

Kathleen our waitress was the best, very helpful and knowledgeable about the food and restaurant. Ask for Kathleen the next time you visit, she is the best

The Boathouse never disappoints. Appropriately attentive service, delicious food, and top notch atmosphere. Special treat!

Always fabulous food and service at Boathouse! We started with oysters, shared an appetizer and a salad, and the special (ribeye) entree. Fantastic meal!

Food was delicious. We sat in bar and enjoyed full menu plus bar options and we dressed more casually

I don't know how to quantify what it means to be "the best" because at some point, things are as good as they get. And while being "the best" something that many restaurants aspire to, few achieve. The Boathouse does it, and while it's not an inexpensive experience by any means, it is certainly worth it! The best part is they do it without being pretentious or stuffy in any way. It's just beautifully casual (business casual attire is perfectly acceptable), in a gorgeous location, with sensational food and outstanding service to match. And get the morel bisque. You can thank me later...

Always a special place for fine dining. The atmosphere and service is great. The yellowfin tuna tartare is outstanding. The asparagus tempura is now more like asparagus pancake dough. It used to be a “must-have,” but sadly, no more.

Just had a wonderful anniversary dinner, food was great and service was amazing - ask for Dan! He recommended great food as there are multiple options! Very attentive, great wine selection. This should be your special event destination!

My fiancée and I are from out of town and had a 8pm reservation on a Saturday evening. We were greeted and seated promptly. We were surprised that most of their tables were open while there were no open time slots prior to 8pm. In fact, a group of 5 that we met while wine tasting ended up also going there while chatting with them at the winery. They had to sit at the bar. The dining room was a bit too quiet where everyone could hear others conversations. Background music could have been turned up just a tad to help that. We each had a glass of wine to start off and it was a great selection. We then had ordered the surf and turf for two. We had been told by the party of 5 while at the winery that their morel mushroom soup was very good. While ordering, we were thinking that it would be too much food if we each ordered a bowl of soup because the entree included a salad for each of us. The waiter agreed that it might be a bit much so he made the suggestion that we have one salad and bowl of soup which would be a $6 upcharge. We agreed to do that. The bread rolls that came out shortly after were really good. Perfect temperature and crispness to the outer crust. The soup and Greek salad were also very good. The soup was full of flavor and perfect thickness. Everything about the salad tasted fresh and the dressing was very good. The filets and lobster tails were also perfectly cooked. My fiancée didn't care for the zip sauce on the filet. She said that it was a bit too thick, almost like a gravy, and I agreed. The reason for the 3-star review mainly comes at the end of our dinner when we receive the bill. The waiter charged the full $18 price for the soup when it should have been just the $6 charge. When I inquired about the charge he confirmed that I was correct. He then said to just put my card with the bill and that he'd make the adjustment. Well he never made the adjustment and never came back. Sadly, I took the difference off his tip.

My wife and I went to the Boathouse for our annual Christmas season date-night. The food was exceptional! We had the Surf-n-Turf for two, which is very expensive, but nice for a special occasion. It was prepared perfectly and exactly how we requested. Our waiter, Ted, did a really nice job. Also very nice and somewhat surprising, is the wine menu. We ordered a bottle of Chateau Ste Michelle cab sav, which is rated 9.1/10.0 on my wine app. It was $58 at the Boathouse, which is actually a good price in a restaurant like this. The evening was overall great.

Food was cold, service was poor. It was a light crowd but the waitress was more focused on folding napkins than getting us our food while it was hot or asking us if we needed new drinks, etc

Lynn

Wonderful food and service. We did find that our seating area was very tight however. There was very little room between tables.
