I'm from SW corner of Michigan near St Joseph and whenever I'm up in Traverse City, I make sure I go to Boones for dinner. It has great atmosphere and service and the food never disappoints!

Thank you Boone's for the incredible experience. Our staff had a Christmas party at Boone's yesterday and we had the best time! The whole team was so kind and helpful, and we had so many people! They never once acted overwhelmed. I am a former server, I still have nightmares of big groups. You have some treasures there! We had wonderful items to choose from. My husband chose the prime rib... he raved over it. I had the strip steak. So good!!!! The side choices were delicious and ooooh the bread! My table all chose cheesecake for dessert because there was a gleam in our server's eye. WOW! It was the best cheesecake I have ever had, and the cherries on top, I could live off of it! The best part was definitely our servers. They were always on top of things and a joy. I can't wait to return!

I have gotten seafood platter for years. There was less seafood and there was very little flavor. My husband's prime rib had good flavor if you like low salt and seasoning but was 1/4 fat. We will not go back.

The fireplace was nice on a cold day. Prime rib was excellent but the Perch was disappointing, dry yet somehow rubbery. It was busy but we had prompt service.

Oct. 16, 2025: THE BEST RIB EYE STEAK I EVER HAD!!!!!!! It was perfectly cooked medium rare as I requested. It was so flavorful and seasoned perfectly. The service was impeccable. We were so happy to spend our 50th anniversary here. We will definitely return every time we are in the area. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Prime rib and perch were fantastic. Service was great. Meals were slow coming but worth it. The dining area is a little noisy.
