Not what it used to be. Went for our 25th anniversary dinner and pretty disappointed. Our server was great! Food not so much. Filet Mignon was tough and hard to chew even cooked medium. My husband said his ribeye was good but he had higher expectations for the price and has had much better for much less. Apple pie was served straight out of the fridge cold with ice cream. I guess I should have requested it to be warmed. Overall annoyed for the price we paid and won't be returning.

We went last night July 10th. We had low expectations as Boone’s has been going downhill for years, we thought let’s give it a shot for old time sakes. Service was bad, food was over priced and not good at all. Cold French Fries, Rubbery Fish, somehow managed to make a Caesar Salad non edible. Only thing in my mind they got right was the mozzarella sticks, only because it was premade by GFS all they had to do was drop in the fryer. It was strange to see how they are over staffed but under staffed at the same time. Waitress seemed annoyed tired and overworked while bussers just stood around and did nothing. What was once the standard in TC albeit 25 years ago, is now a shell of what it was. Local dive bars have better food and drinks at 1/2 the price. If you want to spend $200 go to Oakey’s down the road and take two extra friends with you.

If you like beef , then Boone's is for you. Generous portions, in some instances one dinner is enough for 2 people. Would recommend.

I don't understand how this place gets rave reviews. My husbandand I went there for our 25th anniversary on the recommendation of several people. I had the scallops. They were not cleaned properly and were full of sand. My husband got the prime rib. He said it had no flavor at all and wasn't a very good cut. Both of our baked potatoes were over cooked and mushy. The waitress offered to bring me something else, but the gritty scallops ruined my appetite. We paid our very expensive bill, tipped our waitress and left. We will never go back.

I came around 745pm on a Monday and was seated immediately. The waiter was able to get my drink and meal order in as soon as I sat down. The food came out within 10 minutes. I was shocked. The prime rib was juicy and tender. I would definitely check this place out for good steaks and I hear the seafood is also good.
The prime rib was barely chewable, now this is what they have been known for for absolutely years and years, all 4 of us bought Prime Rib and all were disappointed in the tenderness,they were offering fish also,we should have chosen fish, at least I presume you could chew it.

So sad. This used to be our favorite place 20 yrs ago, just moved back and thought let's get a nice meal. We were so surprised on Friday night it was dead- but the we got our food, ice cold. Sent it back Prime rib MW came back a 2nd time ice cold same with veggies. Husb meal was the same $50 seafood platter not even Luke warm. Couldn't even eat it. Waitress said I'll comp your drinks off the $100 meal we couldn't even eat. Mgr didn't come to table even after she knew our food was cold until we asked for her. Young girl did end up coming food but can't believe we had to ask for manager. No wonder it was dead, used to be a wait out the door guess this explains alot. Won't be back.
