Brengman Family Wines

I stopped with a group of friends after a long day of hiking. We sampled several wines and I settled on a robust Merlot. It was fabulous with the focaccia bread that we shared. Beautiful, fun and peaceful.

Very impressed! The wines were great, the charcuterie was amazing and the staff was knowledgeable. I will definitely be back.

What a great spot. We had two of the pizzas and the truffle fries. Great hosts.
They make their own vermouth sweetened with maple syrup. AND, this is a distillery as well as a winery.

Had a poor experience

In a word WONDERFUL. We came upon Brengman on a whim and a sign as we were heading to Mission wineries and stayed. After a less than stellar wine experience at a winery that shall not be named, we fell upon Brengman. We spent some time with Ben, who was engaging and knowledgeable. We tried an assortment of whites and reds and fell in love with the Chardonnay Cement and Right Bank red. We left with bottles of both and a new wine club membership…. Worth the stop….

We used Harvest Host and stayed at Brengman Family Wines over night. The whole experience was outstanding. We were greeted by Ben and he was very hospitable and knowledgeable. We ordered the pesto pizza and filet and had
great wine. The Harvest Host set up was amazing. You drive up into the vineyard and feel immersed among the vines. We look forward to a future visit. If you visit, ask for Ben, he was a great host.

The hospitality here is unmatched! I had the pleasure of taking a tour with the wine maker, Ryan, and it was absolutely fabulous. He was very knowledgeable and patient with answering all of our questions. He listened to what we prefer in wine and made the best recommendations on what we should try. Robert took the time as well to chat with us, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I was also pleasantly surprised on how amazing the food was. I cannot wait to go back soon!

Nice , clean place. Loved the left bank cab/franc vino! The scenery is pretty. Folks serving were friendly, helpful, and quite professional!! Would return here and bring family/friends next time. Parking did seem a bit limited. I'm not sure if they had overflow areas. In summary, I would return!😋

I've been going here for the last 6 or so years and have never been disappointed with the service. The wine is absolutely fantastic and really stands out in quality compared to other northern Michigan wines I've tried. Very quality wine, good prices, and an absolutely stunning view. I'd highly recommend stopping by if you're visiting the area.

Beautiful and accessible winery with a great drive up to the building. Food was above average and came out quickly. I recommend the Robert pizza and the charcuterie and cheese combo

We came here last year and this year this did not disappoint! Shout out to Evan, and Matt, for showing absolute hospitality and knowledge of the wines. We have been to many wineries and there are few that leave an impression and this place is great! I love that they simply say, have a splash to taste to figure out what you'd like to get glass of. Very laid back, friendly, but beautiful tasting room. Very clean. We will come back to taste the food!

Love this place! Lauren and the rest of the Brengman team are wonderful and made my sisters Bridal Shower so beautiful! It’s also not a bad place to work from home ☺️

Amazing owners, knowledgeable staff, great selection of wines, wonderful hospitality, beautiful tasting room and patio. Higher end wines quality and price wise. Will be back again. Must try for all wine connoisseurs visiting Michigan’s wine country.
