We had an amazing experience at Brys Estate Winery in Traverse City! The winery is beautiful, the wines are excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect. A special thank-you to Ernest and Abigale, who made our visit truly outstanding. Their hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail made the experience memorable.
Highly recommend this winery to anyone visiting Traverse City.
Beautiful location! Have been here before and came back for their wine slushie. Down side, we were there the same time as a tour. NO ONES fault, but it was crowded and loud. Our server was apologetic and very kind, but would avoid that situation in the future!
Great spot normally with a very good charcuterie, but we opted to eat elsewhere!
We enjoyed a glass of wine at this estate. The views were amazing and the service was great. We drove to the lavender fields and it was beautiful
Nice place to visit, taste wine, viewpoint
Very beautiful and cute spot! Visit the secret garden gift shop for an apple picking and a little gift for someone who loves lavender (popcorn, soap, candles, etc). Visit the tasting room for wine and snacks but make a reservation- it will fill up like your wine glass. There’s an outdoor patio bar too that was still open in October. So a little chilly- but you can warm up with a hot apple cider and a little fridge of cheeses and crackers.
My husband and I took a day trip up north to couple different vineyards. We loved this spot, overlooking the beautiful Michigan trees changing color. We also loved the lawn bar which allowed us to play cards and have amazing views!!
Had so much fun at Brys!!! Erick is great, made the whole experience.
Sooo busy. We were a group of two placed against the outdoor siding. Table was long and couldn’t converse. Very close to other tables. Service was spectacular. Wine was not good in our opinion. Other wineries we visited fit our taste much better.
Had lunch there today. The food was amazing, the staff was very informative and engaging. They made you feel very special and welcome to Bry’s. The chef’s bring your food to your table and you are able to engage with them. Can’t wait until we can visit again. Also enjoyed the patrons taking pictures of their food and the joy on their faces.
The wine tasting manager, Ernest is a whole vibe. This guy clearly loves his job. Super helpful. Super nice.

We had an amazing experience there today! We had a wine tower and cider flight and some food to share and everything was great - including our service :) We also got to see the secret gardens and do some apple picking. If you’re looking for a good winery experience I highly recommend!
Winery is fabulous. It was packed this Sunday so we had tastings outside and enjoyed relaxing in lawn chairs and enjoying the perfect weather. Great wines and first class service from Karen! She knows her stuff!!
Brys used to be a really fun winery to visit. But I now feel they think a little bit too highly of themselves. It is good wine for sure.
Good service, good wine, good view. Nothing not to like.
While I thoroughly enjoyed the wine during my tasting the staff was abrasive and combative. Their signature drink, the Frozé was specifically mentioned as an option on tasting flights and so I ordered it as part of my tasting. Being a sweet wine this was placed last in the tasting order but it was an 80+ degree day and so drinking it fifth would have meant drink it melted instead of as intended (in a slushie form). When the waitress saw me drink this first she nicely suggested the proper order which I appreciated but disagreed with because of the temperature. I explained to her my rationale and a back and forth ensued along with snide comments later on in my tasting. Once I have made that decision and with a solid logic behind it I should not be continually forced to endure commentary and snide remarks.
Again, the wine was great and definitely my favorite of the vineyards we went to over the weekend but the experience was negative for me. You’re better off just buying a bottle than doing the tasting.
Edit: Following the response from the owner I am raising my review from three to five stars as the wine was truly fantastic and I appreciated their response to my issue. I do plan to come back in the future and would recommend it to anyone
