Such a fun tasting. Kathy was knowledgeable and kind while she helped this “wine ignorant” person figure out what she likes. I got a flight, met friends, listened to live music. Great vibe!!

I do not think I have ever had a worse experience at a winery ever. We enjoy their cherry wine and spiced cherry wine, but our tasting experience was one of the worst ever. Our server at the tasting was named Kathy I believe. The only employee without a name tag. This individual was absolutely awful. Rushed and rushed us even though we were the only party in the building doing tastings. Several other wineries were not surprised to hear about our experience here. All the wineries in the area were wonderful and we were treated respectfully. Avoid this location at all costs if you do not want your day ruined. This was our third visit and have never been so disappointed with a winery as I was that day.

We have been winetasting up in the Traverse City area for 25 years. Château grand Traverse never disappoints! They have the best wines, both white and red, especially for the price point! We just joined their wine club and can’t wait to have their amazing wines shipped to us downstate. You gotta check them out!

Nice selection of wines, but they are moreover a commercial/ cooperate feel. Card preferred. Nice outdoor space.

This is near the top of my 3 favorite wineries on the Old Mission Peninsula. First their wines are superb. The Old Mission Peninsula’s wineries are known for their whites and I will say that their late harvest Riesling and late harvest Chardonnay are two of the best white wines one will find. The tasting flights are very affordable and the price per bottle of wine is very good.
As a bonus we joined their club which is free. The only thing commitment associated with that membership is to have 3 bottles of wine shipped to our house 4 times a year. A perk is if one wants to spend a night or two in their Inn located in a separate building on the grounds, they can get a deal which includes buy one night and get a second for free I. The off season as well as have free tastings and a free bottle of wine. We just did this in the middle of February and loved every aspect of our experience!

Can get busy in the summer, but it's definitely worth the wait.

We stayed at the inn in December and it was the most perfect, quiet getaway. The rooms were so clean and cozy. Staff were attentive and everything was in order for us to enjoy. It felt as though we were the only ones there too! We went to the tasting room in the afternoon, also the only ones there. Sherrie did a tasting for us and she was amazing and very knowledgeable. She took her time with us, we never felt rushed. Gave us all the good wine and vineyard recommendations in the area. Will be coming back again!
