I had read so many good reviews so I was looking forward to trying this place. Overall our meal was disappointing. We love fried rice but this rice was just not good. Chicken egg rolls were decent - the wraps weren't thin which we liked and they were cooked well and crispy, but the inside ingredients were very plain. The teriyaki chicken was one of the best items we ordered and it was still mediocre. The orange chicken was really disappointing. The spiciness wasn't the issue, it was that the chicken tasted cheap and was chewy. Not worth what we paid.

I agree that this place has low ratings for no reason. I drive 45 mins to get this! It's fresh and delicious, and not greasy like other places in town. Not sure why low ratings for service.. Young man at front is always happy and helpful and phone orders are easy.. I asked tons of questions and made special requests with no language barrier. It's drive thru pick up only, which is kinda nice, don't even have to get out of car. Try them!!

Food was good, but was over charged on food and didn't realize it till I was home which was a hour away so couldn't go back. So make sure you check your recipient.

It has unfortunately been years since I've been to Traverse City but I still miss the food here sometimes and I have lived all over the country. I especially enjoyed the sesame tofu which I would get once a week.

Used to come here at least once a week since they opened. Don't know what happened, but prices went through the roof and the food quality has plummeted. Go to the website and checked out the menu and placed an order only to get to the pickup window to see a note that says they don't have a website. Funny I was able to order from it.

Their general tao tofu slaps, hands down. The tofu was fried right, good and juicy, and the veggies were fresh and vibrant. The ease of pick up through the drive through on these frigid winter days is clutch.

I’ve always liked China Lee, and recently they’ve altered their recipes or something, and in a good way!Our go-to meals are General Tso’s and Pork Fried Rice. The general tso’s is so much spicier now! As it should be. And our most recent order of PFR was also better somehow??Not sure what y’all are doing differently, but I like it.

Food was terrible. Bland. flavorless, poor quality and small portions. Dumplings mostly dough, beef and onions had less than 2 oz meat, eggrolls look like spring rolls. Very poor and no value for price. The posted menu pricews are not current. Three of us had combo meals with 3 apps - $67.02Never Again!!!!!

Due to mixed reviews I had to try it for myself. Lady who answered phone had heavy accent BUT she understood me and got my order PERFECT. Young man at window was exceptional friendly and served me with a smile. At home I had my Veggie Egg Roll which was fried correctly and non greasy. Alas there was no sauce for it, maybe I need to ask for it? ... Next time ! Szechuan Lo Mein was Fabulous AND Spicy... I likey! I had to eat a pint of Lavender Ice Cream from Buchans Blueberry farm after !!! I will return!
