Delicious food! They gave us the wrong item then ran outside to give us the right one and gave us the original item for free. Great service.

The food is amazing!! I ordered the mapo tofu as is my habit when it's on the menu. For those that don't know this is supposed to be a spicy flavorful dish. They delivered both extremely well. The way the Sichuan peppercorns tingle your tongue is not something you normally get to experience. Truly an authentic experience!! I will only be in Traverse City for a couple days, but I will be eating here again before I go home.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We ordered 4 different entrees, a mixture of noodle, chicken and tofu dishes. They all had the same underwhelming flavor profile. They were all very salty and tasted heavily of a clove spice mixture more than anything else. Portion sizes for the price were very small as well.

Travel in Travers City, and found this hidden gem place on Red Note. Very close to Sichuan’s authenticity. Wish the best for brothers and look forward to seeing their brand in whole Michigan soon!!! Thank you for bringing Chinese food here, when we have homesick!

This is hands down my favorite place to get food in Traverse City. Many places have come and gone, but I really hope this place remains for a long time. Real flavor, real people. The wings are my favorite, along with mapo and tendon salad. My wife loves the rice cakes. When we’re in doubt about what to get locally, and even when we aren’t, we go for some Palace most often. Wonderful place to expand your palate and get some great playlist ideas while you wait for food. Leftovers are a farce with food this good.

Had the wings, dumplings, cucumber salad and noodles between 2. Every dish was absolutely excellent. Highly recommend the cucumbers to cut the pepper flavors with a bit of vinegar it was a perfect complement. Not quite as spicy as I was expecting, but I have a very high spice tolerance and my wife thought it was plenty hot. Will be back to try the rest of the menu!!

This place is amazing! We ordered the Dan Dan Dan Noodles, chicken/shrimp fried rice, and spicy cold noodles. Everything was sooo good. The Dan Dan noodles had some kick to them, but not so much to where you can’t enjoy them, and if you normally eat spicy then you will like it. We will definitely be ordering every time we are in town.

Very authentic Chinese Sichuan food. Amazing! To Mandarin or Asian guys, you will not be disappointed, or even more, you will be amazed just like us. To US guys, this is not the American Chinese food 😉, so you probably will not be able to find orange chicken sort of stuff.

One of the best spots in Traverse City! The chefs are really dedicated to the craft. Be sure to try the cucumber salad and the numbing chicken wings!

This place has, hands down the most Amazing food I have ever had. We travel a lot and have eaten at really good place all over the country and so many good places in Traverse City but nothing compares to the food that comes out of the Crocodile Palace. Thank you for making my meal a awesome experience every time.

Highest quality ingredients and care in this tiny, rebel, spicy Chinese takeout place. If pork belly is on the current menu - it's a must try. We served up a feast for 14 to high praise and not a leftover in sight.
