I’ve been to firefly many times in my life and I just went back for the first time in a long time. Get the ahi tuna nachos and the steak “sushi”. They’re delicious. I’ve always loved the beef skewers as well. I recommend this place for a nice friends lunch or date night out in TC.

The last couple times I’ve even here the food just isn’t as good as I remembered in the past :( I got the lettuce wraps and the meat was so dry and barley had any sauce. Also the soda was super flat and watery I’m not sure what happened but seems the quality has gone down

Cocktails and small plates ere generous portions. French dip and truffle fries a little greasy and salty. Service was good, not great. Bill was under $90, so I guess that's good. Would definitely go back and try other stuff.

Honestly just overall disappointing food, not terrible but just not anything worth while getting.

The sushi was really disappointing — the rolls tasted off and the quality just wasn’t there. It didn’t seem fresh, and I couldn’t even finish what I ordered. The only reason this isn’t a one-star review is because they did refund me without any argument, which I appreciated. Still, I wouldn’t come back here for sushi again.

Shrimp fried rice and udon steak noodles were akin to a microwaveable dish. Maybe the American options are a safer bet.

This ended up being our destination for lunch today because the three others that we checked out did not work for us. SO glad they didn't! This was an excellent find! Great atmosphere and service. We ordered the potstickers and the steak skewers with sweet potato fries. Both were outstanding and a 9/10! There were so many other delicious looking options on the menu. If you are in the Traverse City area Firefly is an excellent option. You won’t be disappointed.

The “fried” chicken sandwich was a frozen cutlet of chicken that they heated up in the microwave. It was the driest sandwich I’ve ever had. I had to ask for ketchup so I could have enough moisture to swallow it. A McDonalds chicken sandwich is better than this. Why wouldn’t a restaurant just batter and fry a chicken breast? The bun was ice cold as well. My husband got the Rueben and it was so-so, but didn’t come with horseradish sauce. Instead it was a weird garlic aoli. The interior is a concrete floor with tables scattered around. Zero stars for atmosphere. Stay away from this place.

Excellent service and great food. I haven’t had this good of service in a long time. Very polite and friendly waitress. I totally forgot her name but she did a wonderful job. The flank steak was kind of small but after two appetizers it was the perfect amount.
