Frenchie’s was an incredible place to visit for breakfast in Traverse City! We sat inside, at one of about 4 tables, but there is outside patio seating as well. Not only is the place incredibly cozy and welcoming, the food was delicious! We tried the Egyptian Breakfast Beans, which were unique and very flavorful. We also tried the Frenchie’s American, which came with garlic potatoes (yumm) and the most divine homemade biscuits and jam I’ve ever had!! Seriously, we’re planning on coming back and getting biscuits to-go before we leave Traverse. The service was also wonderful, kind and friendly. 100% recommend if you’re in the area!

I rate restaurants on quantity, quality and price. Quantity 1 out of 10. I got two eggs scrambled with cheese. Unless they were robin eggs. It looks like maybe one egg to me. The potatoes, 1 out of 10, were maybe two bites full. I left the place starving.

Quality - Eggs 8 out of 10, good but nothing amazing. Potatoes - 6 out of 10. Great flavor, but I asked for them to be crispy. She said they are crispy. They were limp.

Price 1 of 10. For what you got, it was a very poor value. The potatoes were maybe the size of a drink coaster. Potatoes are cheap! It might have cost another 15 cents to double what was served, and with everything made to order, just keep it cooking for another minute or two so it was crispy. The eggs were like $8-$9 range, so again a poor value.

I will say it was a very nice outdoor seating area, and the server was very pleasant.

I guess if your watching your diet and have money to burn, the place might be just fine.

Frenchies Famous in Traverse City is an absolute gem! I had the Chorizo omelette and it was easily the best omelette I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and the addition of fresh toasted bread took it to another level. The vibe here is warm, welcoming, and laid-back, and the staff couldn’t have been kinder. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Traverse City — you won’t be disappointed!

Hours not reliable. Showed up when they were “open” and got yelled at by a guy inside.

I have no words for how awesome this place is! Truly a gem in a small and funky place. The food is the best you can get outside of a big city.

Food prices are outrageous! $17.50 for cheesy scrambled eggs, chorizo, potatoes and a biscuit. $3.75 for coffee. Omelets are $17 to $20! Service was slow.

Small, funky restaurant with limited menu but good scratch cooking. The buttermilk biscuits and raspberry jam were worth the visit.

My Mom and I discovered this amazing little place last year and have been back 5 times (we live 3 hours away). It's our new Go To place when we are in town for a visit. The bread is homemade daily. The Monte Cristo is the BEST I have ever had. My Mom is an amazing cook herself and she raves about this place if that tells you anything. Yes, it small and sometimes busy but it is worth the wait

I had a nice breakfast at Frenchies one Friday morning. It’s a small, cozy place, and I got a small table in the corner. The mushroom omelet was a special that sounded good, so I went with that. It was delicious, and packed a lot of mushroom flavor. The bread with jam was also nice and soft. I’m glad I got in early, as I could easily see this place filling up quickly. Service was friendly, and prices seemed fair. I’d definitely go back again for breakfast.

Only giving 5 stars cause I can't give it 6. Biscuits, amazing. Cookies, delightful. Pastrami, out of this world. Fresh OJ, so good. Tiny room that only setas 10, which was great and inspired good conversation amongst strangers. Definitely visit here!

Can't believe I've lived here almost 8 years and my first time at Frenchie's. Won't be my last! Absolutely delightful food and atmosphere.
