Good service and great authentic Mexican food.

Very nice staff and great food

I was leary about trying another Mexican restaurant in Michigan because they always disappoint me. Bland flavor is the norm in Northern Michigan. BUT WAIT... IT WAS DELICIOUS.

I ordered a Nachos Supreme which had flavorful beef, moist and tasty chicken, great tasting refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and shredded white cheese. I really enjoyed it! My husband ordered a beef Wet Burrito and loved it. His Coke and my Iced Tea were served in very nice thick glass glasses. Nice touch. You definitely get your money's worth in your food portions.

The atmosphere is classy. The tables have upholstered chairs. We sat in a booth, and you know booths, right, always too low of a seat. No! So nice to be at a proper level to the table. 🙃

The chips and salsa are $1.99 extra, which they tell you when they offer them.

Our waiter was very kind and attentive. The seating hostess was kind and smiley. Much appreciated because that is part of one's overall experience.

The ladies bathroom is large. A wheelchair or stroller could fit easily in there. It was clean and had nice decor'. The sink vanity and faucets were more of a home setting vs restaurant. Nice touch. There is even a full length mirror in there.

I would come here again and I will recommend that you come here too. 🥰

We were party of nine. All food came out at same time, hot and delicious. Really nice staff. Highly recommend

The waitress was in training, but there did not seem to be anyone checking on the waitress who was training. I made sure to point to the menu items I was ordering.

She brought the food. I took 1 look and new it did seem right. I politely said to the girl. This doesn't seem right I ordered a 2 oz side and this looks larger than that. She said no it right. So we went on to eat next thing I know the management is telling me she brought me the appetizer by mistake and that is what I will be charge for and that is what I have to pay for.
I didn't feel it was my responsibility to pay for something I clearly told the waitress I didn't think it was right. She said you ate it and you have to pay for it. So she wrecked my entire experience I slide the food aside and paid the bill she called me rude. When clearly I was upset that she got in my face and I couldn't even finish the food I didn't order and now was stuck paying for. I won't be back! Hopefully other people will have a better experience than I did!!!

Was so happily surprised. The food was authentic and great. The Margarita to die for. Our server was very friendly and helpful

My daughter and grandbabies were excited about visiting Frida's. The waiter misunderstood and brought two kiddie meals whereas we had ordered one because the baby only eats a bit. We had asked for one chocolate milk which he said was included in the kiddie meals (we were charged for 2 of them) The worse was yet to come. Two young girls proceeded to race into the restaurant and one ended up vomiting which splashed on my daughter's back and hair as well as the glass wall of the restaurant and floor. The staff hurriedly cleaned up the mess.They only asked about my daughter when I asked about getting a towel to help clean her off, but no compensation was offered just I'm sorry. The waitstaff was pleasant just not helpful when it came to adjusting our bill which we felt would have been a kindness after what took place. We could not finish our lunch as my daughter wanted to get home to shower so we paid our bill and left.

Fast and friendly service. The food was wonderful. The margarita was tasty. Loved the decor. Had to take a box home with leftovers because the portions were large. Will definitely stop by again the next time we’re in TC.

Had there steak tacos and the meat dry and over cooked. Got charged 3.00 dollars for chips didn't expect that. First time coming here and also the last time
