Food is a must have experience and a must to fit in to your weekly menu for dinner. Small restaurant which gives it a Chicago or New York hole in the wall vibe. Come with an empty stomach and even then you’ll have leftovers.

I visit Little G’s every time I am in TC. Absolutely love the Ropa vieja. Make sure you ask for some of his hot sauces on the side! The owner/chef is a gracious host. Highly recommend.

Little G’s is amazing. The flavor combinations and heart that goes into every dish is impeccable. Traverse City is lucky to have this place!!!

Kid-friendliness: The owner was so sweet to our 18-month-old and gave her some sweet plantains and caramel..she was in love!

Loved it when it was Georgina's, first time trying it since it reopened as Little G's. The Puerto Rican lasagna...still incredible! And the mojito's? Best I've had outside of Puerto Rico! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband and I went to Little G’s to celebrate our anniversary on a beautiful Friday night. When we arrived, there were a few tables outside and three inside. The owner, Tony, greeted us and we took a window seat. We started with drinks and appetizers. Pork belly and calamari. The calamari was good but the chicharon was the epitome of what pork belly should be.

As we sat, the other customers left in pairs and small groups until we were one of two tables in the restaurant. Tony was so warm and friendly as he checked on us. He has a true passion for what he does and it shows. Not only does he know food, he knows how to describe food in the way an artist describes a painting.

For our main course, I ordered the Thai curry with peanut sauce and rice. My husband ordered Chorizo con Queso. Both were delicious. Tony had described my dish as “comforting.” He even said at one point that if I didn’t enjoy it, he’d happily cook me something else. I’d say eating my dinner was very much akin to coming home in the winter time to a warm fire and tight hugs from loved ones. My husband’s con queso was fantástico and by the time he was finished, there was still a full container of food to take home.

Going to TC and tasting Tony’s food again was a delightful experience. Out of all the places we could have gone and people we could have met, this was by far one of the best experiences we’ve had in TC. The atmosphere was wonderful and Tony is one of those people who cares so much about what he does that it pours out of his soul and into his dishes. Little G’s is a wonderful place and if you haven’t stopped in, you should definitely try. Thanks for taking care of us, Tony, from the bottom of our hearts. God bless!

The drinks and appetizers (mini Sombrero, mojito, and sangria) were amazing. The boyfriend ordered the Tallarines y chorizo and I the sweet and sour chicken. His dish was interesting and he enjoyed it. Mine was as to be expected.

It was not a bad place for sure, and the service was wonderful.

Chef Tony is a gem of a person and his food is out of this world. He quickly picked up on our ethnic and dietary constraints and offered us samples and off-the-menu ideas of what he thought we would enjoy. Sure enough, he was right. We had drunken noodles and a ‘special’ dish with rice, veggies, plantains, peanuts that was just exquisite. We now have a permanent restaurant to visit every time we go
to TC. Thank you for the kindness, genuineness and deliciousness, Tony.

Dietary restrictions: ask the chef for options.

Tony was hosting, serving, and cooking and he did it all amazingly well. He has a big heart and a passion for cooking meals that people will enjoy. The portion sizes were good. Don't be afraid to ask him to customize it for you. He also took great care of our dog as we ate at the outdoor seating. Service, food, and even the music was all really great! Thank you Tony!
