This team is outstanding. Both at my sister's wedding and at my own, they set up and tore down with almost military precision (it was very impressive); they moved about the place like they've rehearsed choreography of how to make things flow best; the food was, of course, SPECTACULAR; and they seemed to genuinely care about making things go smoothly for you! I am pretty introverted and Jen was an amazing source of ideas of how to avoid feeling overwhelmed- she definitely knows her stuff. Joanne was leading the charge on the wedding day and she gives very strong Mom Energy. She insisted on serving me from the buffet and carrying my plate back for me because I had my hands full with my dress. I had let them know ahead of the wedding to not take away my food without checking first and she made sure to follow through on that! Each staff member we interacted with was pleasant and helpful. We loved our dinner and we are so glad they were part of our wedding day!

We loved our wedding dinner with the local TC touches. The brisket had a traverse city Demi sauce, the carrots had local honey, and we did a classic TC salad with dried cherries. I received so many compliments on the food! Best wedding food we could have ever had!! So many guests agreed upon this even with “only” one meat option among a plethora of ultra-crowd-pleasing vegetarian options.Planning our menu was so seamless, with everyone at Grandview coordinating with our venue to make sure even the smallest details were nailed down and everyone was on the same page. Jen sent an incredible first draft for our menu, going off very few clues, only that we are going for a Michigan-y, mostly vegetarian, autumnal theme. Based off just a few comments, they quickly finalized the menu and we had absolutely zero things to change after our official tasting. It was amazing to have 100% flexibility in our menu and no limitations.Also, they helped accommodate a single vegan guest with an almost comically delicious and vibrant meal. They also accommodated a last minute RSVP's tree nut allergy. My father even came up to me to say that was the best salad he ever had and I'm inclined to agree.The next day, as all the "I wish we had time for xyz's" began to settle, my husband and I's top regret is not eating more mashed potatoes or at least asking for some to be saved for later. When asked if they had a good time, VERY many guests simply responded with "uuugh the mashed potatoes!!" No other words necessary lol.Thank you Jen, Joanne, the chef and the entirety of the Grandview team for creating potent, delicious memories for us and all of our guests.
