Excellent! In all aspects.

This place was suggested to my wife and I by a friend of ours. When we arrived, there is no clearly marked entry. There are multiple buildings and you’re not quite sure which way to go in. My wife went in a door and kept walking around while employees walked past her and didn’t speak to her.Finally, she got a hold of somebody and they were dismissive to say the least. I guess if you’re gonna go someplace and just sit down and have a beer this might be a decent place but we found it to be dismissive at best. It is quite a long drive to get out there too. I would not ever try to drive out here from Traverse City ever again.

This was a delightful classic Michigan Brew pub. The food is outstanding, the beer is refreshing, the service is great. Highly recommend.

This is a regular stop when we visit TC. The food is great, the beers are tasty, and the service is good. The building has a lot of history and has beautiful views. On our most recent visit, I did notice they don't give out complimentary chips and dip anymore, which is a bummer, but otherwise this place just gets it right every single time.

Very cool atmosphere! Only reason I gave 4 stars was due to the place feeling a bit understaffed, the waiter we had was absolutely swamped and all over the place. Food and drinks took some time to get, but were well worth it. Our one starter, the nachos, came out a bit burnt. Fortunately the waiter took notice, and told us that he would not be charging us for them. The beers were fantastic, and I didn't have a single one I wouldn’t enjoy!

Great brewery! Very cool old building, lots of character. Beers were delicious as always and the food was tasty!

I've eaten many nice meals here over the years, but our dinner at Jolly was especially memorable today because our server, Andrew, was helpful and hilarious and just the nicest person. He deserves a shoutout.

Love their mushrooms pizza & fish and chips. The only down side is some drinks are only seasonal.

It was a very busy Sunday afternoon. The server was good, but not excellent. The mushroom pizza was just ok as there wasn’t a lot of mushrooms on it but it tasted good. My husband had a pork sandwich which he enjoyed. There was a table full of noisy yelling small children close by and the parents did little to nothing to control their yelling and running around. I wish there was a section for small children and parents. All in all we will come back.

The food is ok but you can barely see it lol! it’s a “dark bar” vibe our table of 6 used our phones to see what we were eating, the waitress forgot a kids meal and said it would be on the fly, 15 mins later cold fry’s for the kid as his burger came out lol maybe invest in better lighting and a better kitchen… no excuses for cold food in 2024! Over all a 2 star place

My husband and I had a great meal at Jolly Pumpkin last night! Super-fast service, our waiter Andrew was amazing! Highly recommend!

Great place to have a good meal, great service and gain knowledge about the history of the building! The food was good, we had pizza and the rice bowl. However the service was the reason I give it 5 stars! Crazy nice…everyone! The bartender(s) gave us the spooky history of the property and allowed us to take a drink, and walk around and explore. Relaxing atmosphere, and beautiful all around.
