We LOVED our gluten free food so much we came back for a second time while visiting Traverse City. We had gfree chicken fingers, flatbread and fried pickles. Beer was great. Atmosphere was on point. Kids loved the darts and pool tables.
My husband and I stopped here at 11am and just wanted a quick bite. After reading the menu, I had to try a savory waffle. I highly recommend the one with smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers, and an egg. My husband got the avocado toast. Everything was remarkably delicious, exceeding my high expectations!! We also got beers to try. The service is outstanding and they are very welcoming to dogs! We will definitely be back. I love this place! I’m so sad I fed my face before the photos.
Look, I Know they were short staffed.. but... didn't excuse the fact they had to change out food twice as it wasn't what was ordered, or that one dish came out after everyone else had completely finished. Food was ok.. not worth a return trip. So so burger. Tasted fine, but could have been from any good Grill and I wouldn't have paid $20 for it. Honestly the frys, I thought were the best tasting item we had. Not even sure how they get there unique shape.. kinda peeled. Tasty. I over tipped and gave our waitress 15% because my wife said I had to.. she was very friendly, but... still not an excuse.
Walked in today to eat, and I instead of being asked if I needed a table, I was asked by two separate female servers if I was here for DoorDash. The staff needs to be educated that just because someone walks in that doesn’t represent the general population, doesn’t mean they’re service workers. They need to learn how to treat everyone with respect. Will not be coming back.
This restaurant was a fantastic choice for our family of five, especially with a couple of gluten-free eaters in the group. We're always on the hunt for a place that makes *everyone* happy, and this one absolutely delivered. Great food, lots of gluten-free options including drink options (Gluten-Free fried chicken tenders gluten-free flat Bread YEEEs please, cider was also on-point), plus fun extras like pinball machines, a pool table, and flat screen TVs—it had something for all of us.
The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the service. The staff wasn’t unfriendly, just not as warm or energetic as I would’ve hoped. A little more spunk would have matched the fun vibe of the place.
Still, it’s a solid spot, and we'd definitely go back!
Food was good not much of a variety there where burgers and flat bread both where honestly amazing and you could make anything gluten free there was a mini arcade and pool table very fun atmosphere and great food it gets a thumbs up from me highly recommend if in traverse city
Very cute indoor outdoor place to get a good burger, the fries are delicious as well highly recommend.
An incredible stop for food and drinks - the GF chicken tenders and GF wings were so good! We’ll definitely be back.
It wasn’t busy at all and it took 55 minutes to get are food. The staff wasn’t doing much and it wasn’t worth the wait. The cooks are bad to say the least. Not going in order of ticket length which is confusing to say the least. Was excited to try something new but was disappointed will not be coming back.
Cool spot to grab some beers and relax. Building was cool, in a nice location for downtown. Will be back.

Middlecoast Brewing Company is in a great location with plenty of paid parking options nearby, making it convenient to visit. The atmosphere is fantastic—inviting, vibrant, and perfect for relaxing with friends. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the positive experience.
As for the beer, it was just okay. While the selection is decent, the flavors didn’t particularly stand out compared to other breweries. However, the overall vibe and service make it worth a visit, especially if you’re in the area and looking for a comfortable spot to hang out.
Would recommend for the atmosphere and service, but beer enthusiasts might not be blown away.
