We booked Mission Table for our 2025 wedding but ended up needing to change our plans due to unforeseen life circumstances. While we expected the facility fee to be non-refundable, the lack of empathy and support we received — even with six months’ notice — was disappointing.
Communication throughout the planning process was inconsistent and frustrating. We often had to follow up multiple times just to get basic answers. One staff member contacted us about meal selections a full year in advance, while another didn’t seem aware of key event details at all. Our main contacts, Barb and Madi, were very unhelpful and at times outright dismissive.
Looking back, we genuinely feel like we dodged a bullet. The venue may be beautiful, but the team running it left us feeling stressed and undervalued. Couples deserve better for such an important day.

Attended my nieces wedding/reception at Mission Table. Every detail right down to the beautiful bay view was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for more. My meal was the best reception plate I’ve had. Recommended!

Old mansion has some ghostly tails which may not even be true after all. With that said that place ghost’s stories or not is still a spooky place. No one has a bad thing to say about the food or the drinks. Staff is great , very helpful.

Mission Table hosted the most magical wedding for us! It all went so smooth with the help of Madi getting everything ready and responding to my 100 questions leading up to our big day. Kate was our day-of manager and was so kind, helpful, and caring to ensure our day went perfect! So thankful we had our wedding there in traverse city!

Barbara was extremely rude when I called to inquire about their private dining space. Brides be very careful about this place! If Barbara can’t simply be kind when answering the phone with potential customers, I can’t imagine how she treats real paying customers. So unbelievably rude, don’t spend your money here.

We got married at MT on 11/5/22. I cannot recommend this venue enough! Madi and Barb was top notch during the entire planning process; I heard back from Madi within hours of emailing a question. The day-of can be a little tight timeline-wise, but that’s to be expected with their style of venue. I felt so taken care of personally during the wedding - I was never without a glass of champagne, and Madi made sure I had more of the one appetizer I liked best! My guests all had an incredible time, and it was the relaxing, romantic, and intimate wedding we dreamed of.
