The menu is always interesting, as are the cocktails. This has quickly become a new favorite for a fancy dinner.

While the service team and view were great, the food fell a little short of expectations given the setting and price. The risotto in particular was a bit of a let down, but salmon was good.

Had dinner here with a colleague and client. We all ordered the wagyu steak which was $75 ea. I don’t think it was even wagyu but it was nothing special. I would have been ok paying $20 but anything else was a highway robbery. Lack of parking was also a pain.

Last minute change of plans and decided to go to Nobo and it was NOT a mistake. The bucatini was the best pasta dish i’ve ever had. My husband also loved the muscles dish. Highly recommend.

Things have changed drastically in the past year that I've lived here. I used to be able to come down to the bar and watch the Lions game but now they have 2 TVs that are always off so you have to listen to this terrible music while your here. Other than that the bartenders are great and the food is decent but ridiculous on the prices. Definitely catered towards tourists.

We recently found this restaurant and are so pleased with having this available as another TC choice. We have had dinner and lunch and both were excellent. BLT and soup for lunch was outstanding. The trout at dinner with salad was very good. The location and parking is a bit challenging but no more challenging than going downtown. I hope this restaurant can financially make it.

Went with some friends while in town. I enjoyed the experience. A bit pricy but the food was excellent as was the atmosphere. The service was a bit sketchy. They messed up my bill and it took some time to get it fixed. The server was awol after we paid so had to get help from someone else.

A Traverse City hidden gem. The staff were all wonderful and our dinner was incredible. The atmosphere is perfect both inside and outside. This is the kind of restaurant that we bring friends and family who come to visit that know good food.
Also a good spot to grab a drink and snack before going to check out a show at The Alluvion just upstairs from NOBO.
Highly recommended.

NoBo Riverside is truly a gem along the Boardman River. From the moment you walk in, the warm and attentive service makes you feel like a welcomed guest. The staff goes above and beyond to make the experience seamless, striking that perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism.
The food is nothing short of outstanding. The oysters are impeccably fresh, the prawns perfectly prepared, and the tuna carpaccio melts in your mouth with vibrant, clean flavors. Their risotto is rich and comforting, while the pasta dishes showcase both creativity and skill—every bite feels like it was crafted with passion.
And then there’s the setting. With its gorgeous view overlooking the Boardman River, NoBo Riverside offers one of the most relaxing and beautiful backdrops you could ask for. Whether you’re coming for a casual evening or a special occasion, the atmosphere makes it unforgettable.
What makes the experience even better is its location in the same building as The Alluvion, Traverse City’s incredible new venue for live music. Pairing a night of exquisite dining at NoBo with a show at The Alluvion is, without a doubt, the perfect recipe for an amazing night out.
