As a Traverse City local and a regular at North Bar, I can't recommend this spot enough! The rotating seasonal cocktails are always a highlight, keeping things fresh and exciting with every visit. The staff here is simply amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and always making you feel welcome. Whether I'm popping in for a casual drink or meeting up with friends, the atmosphere is always spot-on, offering just the right vibe for any occasion. North Bar has become my go-to, and I’m always looking forward to the next visit. If you're in TC, you absolutely need to check it out!

Sam, Katy and company were so great. We were in town and just got off of our flight from TX. We picked this spot bc of the music coming from above and when we got in, omg they were so great! They gave us too notch service and it felt like we were the only ones there but the place was packed! Don’t change! Thank you!

What a cool bar! Our bartender was super sweet and knowledgeable, wish I remembered this cute little brunette's name to give her credit. The two young guys in the band were very talented, stayed just long enough for a shot of Clase Azul Reposado, rang the bell, and enjoyed the fun atmosphere on this second story, sunshine soaked space Again, very cool!

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE BUSINESS!!! The “owner” treated us like we were garbage. Didn’t get his name but he had dark hair, beard and a mean attitude. I sensed some strong childhood trauma. I called them to ask for the owners name and he hung up on me on purpose.
Edit: We were patient and nice. You were incredibly rude at the start. I expect nothing more from your response after the way you spoke to me. Treat others as you wish to be treated....... I matched your energy.
We were a party of 9. There for my daughters bachelorette weekend. We were there 10 minutes never greeted. I asked a male server where we should sit he said first come sirst seve. We found a table with 6 chairs I asked if it was possible we could sit there coupld h please accommodate us? He replied very rudely "I said first come first serve I replied " I understand I'm asking if you have extra chairs . He was dismissive and said I'll see as he was turning away. I asked if he was the manager and he said I'm the owner. I told him How rude he was and we were leaving and he said good. I'm almost certain he was not the owner another female server said he wuas a manager. Highly dissapointed and offended the way were treated. Would NOT recommend. We went around the corner to Dillengers and were treated exceptionally well and amazing food!!!!!

Amazing atmosphere! Roof top bar over looking downtown TC, with a super fun vibe. Food is just alright but very heavy/greasy, almost everything is fried. Service is slow, but to their credit they are almost always busy ( can take 15+mins for service and longer to cash out). An example we ordered a 2nd round of wine and rather than bring a new glass they fill those little crafes to refill your glass. The server brought the crafe and it was really full, but rather than just filling the glass she poured most of it in the glass and then stopped and poured the rest down the drain! ??♂️ Why!? Just stupid and lousy. ?

Really cool rooftop restaurant. The vibe is awesome and the view is great! The service could definitely use some work, we were there for over one hour for lunch and the waitress was very unhelpful and rarely came by the table.

Sub par experience here today. It’s too bad, because the setting has a lot of potential - sunny rooftop bar. However the music was too loud for lunch, my food was decent (but not true for my friend’s food) and the service was just iffy. My cousin is still sick six hour later.
The music was just not great, and the atmosphere suffers as a result. No one needs an acoustic cover of Dynamite by Tiao Cruz while eating their lunch.
