Old Mission Distilling

Don’t order food from here. We ordered basic tacos and it took over an hour, had to check in multiple times.. and when the “chef” came out his response was “I could make you wait longer.” I’ve never had ruder service, ruined the entire experience at old mission distilling.

Sadly, really let down. One bartender was working on a busy Sunday afternoon, so all craft cocktails “couldn’t be made”. We were on a wine tour so it was very disappointing compared to the other three wineries we had been to. Then, because of the staff shortage, the music wasn’t working and the water cups weren’t stocked (on a 95 degree day). I’d heard good things but I don’t think I’ll be back.

Mark makes a MEAN Old Fashioned and he's a stand up fella. If you haven't been here, you're a fool. Show up, order a drink (preferably from Mark), and enjoy the beautifully aesthetic setting with MCM furniture, gorgeous artwork, and killer drinks.

This was my favorite stop for my bachelorette party! The bartender was amazing to my party! The atmosphere and service were wonderful! My fiancé and I will definitely be back for another visit! Thank you for such great service!

We had the vegetarian pizza served from the café, and it was excellent. It was Detroit style and far exceeded our expectations. Also, we had three mock tails from the bar, which were very good and staff were very pleasant.

Stopped in Saturday December 14, looking for a new spot to hang out during our trips up the peninsula. Was very pleasantly surprised with the overall experience. Great cocktails, great food, great atmosphere and exceptional customer service. Stuart and the team there treated us so well, we decided to come back the next night for pizza and drinks again.

Their riff on an espresso martini, called the Moonlit Harvest was in the top 3 cocktails I’ve ever had. Amazing! 11/10, we’ll definitely be back!

Great drinks great bar tender. Was thrown off by guy think I heard stew crazy faces towards guest. Threw gloves in bar then put hands in sink never washed them just ran water then turning a bus showing up he moves all glass where around. Weird experience

Great cocktails and view. In particular, a perfect stop when fall colors are in full swing! Vince, our server, was very fast and attentive as well.

Find the dreadlock bartender and ask to do a rum shot with him! Excellent service!

The best evening by the fire and amazing cocktails. Service was top notch. I highly recommend a visit to Old Mission Distillery!

Great place, out standing people

Stopped in a little over a week ago after reading great reviews and talking to people at wineries on Old Mission Peninsula who raved about this place. Our plan was to grab a late lunch and a couple drinks. When we arrived, there were a couple people sitting outside and a couple seated at the bar. We weren't greeted when we walked in but figured ah no big deal. We sat in a booth and waited and waited without ever being acknowledged. The couple at the bar left, at which time the bartender never approached us but decided to leave and go outside or maybe to another building to get two large pitchers of water. The second time he did this, we got up and walked over to the coffee bar to ask what the procedure is for ordering and such. She was about to close and was cleaning but said she's noticed that sometimes the bartender will come over and sometimes won't. She also said that food wouldn't start until sometime after 5, which was not at all delienated on their website. We moved from the booth to the bar, thinking surely the bartender will see us now. He did finally come back inside and came over to us, giving us menus and water. He sauntered back over and asked just one of the three in my party what he wanted to drink. He got his drink then the bartender walked away from the other two of us to help someone who walked in to purchase a bottle. He finally came back over, took the order of the other person I was with, made her drink, and walked away to help other people that walked in. He never came back to me to take an order but did acknowledge and help at least 8 other people that came in after us. The whole experience was very odd and off-putting. I will say that the 2 people I was with loved their drinks and would have ordered more had the service been better. On another positive, the space is very inviting and a cool vibe.
