Good time, beautiful views .
Our favorite winery on the peninsula. Very friendly staff and the wine is the best. We had a great conversation with Sam who was very friendly. Very highly recommend Peninsula Cellars! ?❤️
We visit from out of state to Traverse City in the fall, and this is our second time at Peninsula Cellars. We love the variety of wines and ciders. This should be on your list if you visit Old Mission Peninsula.
Great cab franc. Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. A bit expensive, but as they say you get what you pay for, and you’re paying for very good wine here. Would recommend, would absolutely go back.
Sam was an awesome host for us! We bonded over wine and the Lions. We will definitely be back!
AWESOME Wine and Beautiful Outdoor Seating. Must Try is coming this way.
This is a cute place! And the selection is incredible one of the best selections in the area, the view isn’t as nice as some other wineries but the menu makes up for it.
We adored this place so much that we went twice on the same trip! This one-room school house turned winery played up the school theme in a lot of fun ways from the names of their wines to the decor and the outdoor “recess” patio space complete with shaded and unshaded tables, picnic tables, chalk for kids and a few yard games. We ordered a few four-wine flights and LOVED everything we drank. We bought multiple bottles between our group and spent a couple hours here while being there with 2 toddlers and a baby. This place is dog friendly and there is a ramp to get in and out with a wheelchair or stroller. The staff was very friendly and helpful too!
My only suggestion would be to offer reservations or pre-paid flights or drinks if possible to make it easier for groups like ours to plan and not stress about having a space to enjoy our time here. They do have an option for large parties to make reservations on their website. The lack of reservations had me skipping this place when in Traverse a few years ago but I’m so glad we tried it this time and I plan to return!
Dear John (lol), I just thought you should know that you're raising a wonderful young man, Sam. came in yesterday with my best friend who's never been to TC before and had the best time tasting because of Sam! He was so great to work with, very knowledgeable of your wines, and totally put everything in the best order for tasting. I've always loved the wines here far more than any other winery but yesterday's experience made it my favorite place to go as well!!! Thank you!
One of my favorites on the peninsula

Great wine and service. Wonderful place to visit!
The best tasting wines of all the vineyards on the penninsula that we visited. Nice seating and view from patio of vines.
Highly recommend visiting.
Quaint and cute this winery is a great stop! Sam was the most helpful and friendly barista. He gave us great directions on how to waft the wine properly! My nose was introduced was to so many different unique flavors! He gave us his best recommendations and even took the time to sit and hangout with us, 10/10 would reccomend.
Beautiful setting.
I feel like I tried 672 different wines at 4 different wineries while visiting Traverse City and all of my absolute favorites came from this place. The person helping us was WONDERFUL (I think her name was Sarah?) Such a cute lil place. 10/10 would recommend.
