Was a lovely experience. Not only was it great service and great information since I was on vacation an very far from home. The cherry red wine with just hints of chocolate was some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. My mother is a huge lover of red wine and sadly I’ve forgotten which one and lost the label, but the dryer red wine made my family of bourbon drinkers actually start drinking wine. I had never seen my uncle drink wine in his life. I brought a few bottles as gifts for my mother an she kept for very special occasions and it was affordable, not a ridiculous price. All in all, my most memorable winery visit or any kind of alcohol, an I live near where theirs plenty of bourbon and whiskey tours, and of course wineries.
We toured several wineries. This was our favorite. Better wines, friendlier service.
Stacy took great care of us! Detention was my favorite wine. Neat small little stop to make on the peninsula.
Stopped by for some delicious wine with our family on Sunday. Stacy was the only one serving and it was very busy. She was super friendly and did an amazing job to give us an awesome experience. She let us know she was as alone and we had a short wait, but understood!! Thank you Stacy!!!!!
We had a wonderful visit!! Stacey helped us, and she was so attentive and welcoming. Not everyone was super chatty so her energy was a nice end to the day! She was super knowledgeable which was helpful since we are wine newbies.
Celebrated my 40th with a wine tour. Our first stop was Peninsula Cellars. It was my favorite stop on the list! In my opinion, had the best wine and hard cider! My favorites were the 2023 Late Harvest Riesling and the Peachy Keen hard cider.
Thank you for finding the ruler! 😉
A great wine and cider tasting experience! Peninsula Cellars has super friendly, low-key vibes that are welcoming and everything my husband and I tried was delicious. Looking forward to returning during our next visit to TC.
One of my favorite wineries in TC! Their tasting room is easy to access with multiple selections, I recently loved the apple muled wine. Their outdoor patio is quant and with the fall colors under some sunshine, it feels friendly and inviting and more homey than the other HUGE wineries in the area, but still have space for large groupsn
Favorite winery in the area. Prices are great, staff are friendly and informative, and the wines and ciders are fantastic.
We love going to visit. Sarah was great explaining the wine club and Sam did an excellent job with talking to us about the flavors of the wine, history and he is a wonderful person to talk with overall. We go there to talk specifically to him! It is a wonderful family winery.

Cider and service exceeded all expectations - this was by far the highlight of our trip
This was our first stop on a wine tour. We arrived at 4pm on a Saturday. Got our first glass of wine and were headed to the patio when we were stopped by a young male employee. He asked a member of our group if they had eaten that day. We were confused and asked why he was asking and he then explained that he didn’t want people to get too drunk and her face was red indicating that she was intoxicated. This member of our group has a skin condition and had no other indicators of being intoxicated. It seemed as though he was uneducated on how to approach guests. We were extremely insulted and unimpressed by his behavior. Management needs to make more of an effort to educate their employees on how to look for and address possible intoxication in their establishment without being disrespectful to their guests. The other staff members were welcoming and their mulled apple wine was delicious.
We have stopped here a couple times now! Our first experience was a 5/5. Our most recent trip was still a great experience but you could tell the staff was working a busy weekend and some weren’t so friendly both with tone and facial expressions. Specially the younger staff. It made us a lil wary of hanging out and ordering more. The middle aged women really turned our experience around with a bubbly happy attitude. We did get a flight and a few glasses of wine! They have a large variety of wines/ciders. Along with indoor and outdoor seating. We got the full effect of fall colors to enjoy while sipping our pours. They are definitely a more relaxed setting and offer cute picture opportunities as well as toys/bikes for kiddos. We will definitely visit again!
Fantastic place to stop in for tasting. Stacey was extremely knowledgeable of each wine and treats her customers with the utmost respect. Will definitely recommend this winery to others.
Liked the wines and the service was good.
