A step back in time! Loved the staff, the food was good & I would recommend it! Next time I’m in Traverse city, plan on going back there!!!!!

You can tell this place has been around for years. Local breakfast spot for sure. But the issue is every time we have been here on weekends, service has been insanely slow. Over an hour total to get food from the point of ordering.
Food came out a little undercooked from the ask, and wrong options provided, but we were so hungry and wanted to get out of there we didn't dare mention it.
Expected wait times to get seated as well, but that I feel is normal for a weekend.
Waitress was MIA most of the time and when pressed on ETA seemed to just spin her into rushed chaos. Sign upon entering says looking to hire cooks and servers so maybe it's just a sign of the times and staffing issues.
We are shifting over to another options to give a try in the area. Loved the overall dated ambience and vibe of the place. But I don't have 2 plus hours to burn on breakfast on a weekend.

Rounds restaurant is exactly what you want when you're looking for excellent diner food. The atmosphere and staff are awesome. We sat at the counter and were taken care of like we've been regulars for 20 years. Cindy did a great job as our waitress. Breakfast was delicious, the coffee was great and so was our experience. Thanks for a great meal, we will definitely return!
