This was such a great dining experience! Really delicious food and kind service.
I would recommend:
- greens (simple salad but so good)
- chicken sandwich
- beef and waffle

Four of went for breakfast. Just great experience. Unconventional menu options, but excellent food. You can put together your own breakfast: eggs, bread, sausages, bacon, potatoes etc. Or pick from entrees. Highly recommended.

Creative dishes that taste excellent! We were looking for a good lunch spot and S2S went way above expectations, the food here is on a very high level and we both enjoyed our meals a lot! We now face the dilemma of not going here every day instead of trying other new places.
The one big downside is the sound level, they should add some sound proofing to the ceiling, it would turn the experience up another notch.

Had chicken and waffles and was an amazing display and was delicious. My wife had the quiche and loved it. My only complaint would be I paid 4 bucks for a glass of iced tea and when I asked for a refill she said it is 1.50. I thought that was petty considering the original glass was probably less than 12 oz. Little details like this piss me off when we spent 70 dollars for breakfast.

Our party of 7 was delighted with our menu options and choices. All the food was delicious and our server was courteous and attentive. The owner even stopped by our table to check in and was elated with the feedback we were able to give about our experience. Great food! My only complaint is that the space is quite noisy when it’s full. Otherwise it was awesome.
Must come here, great vibe! Great food! Great service!

I'm 37, when I tell you this Is perhaps the best restaurant in TC, maybe even MI, believe me.
Arent many words needed to describe this place.
Everything's homemade, Even the ketchup.
We got the sandwich and quiche.
Best quiche I've ever had. Best fries I've ever had. Just go there.

The kind of restaurant you can order anything blindly off the menu and it is guaranteed to knock your socks off! Cozy clean atmosphere and kind attentive staff. One of Traverse City's best!

While the instead was slighlty underwhelming, the food truly shined. I was impressed by just looking at the menu, but when the food came out, I was even more impressed. Highly recommend if you are looking for great quality food feeling like it’s straight from the farm!

Ok…wow. So, my 15 year old and I were seeking out a last meal before dropping them off at summer camp for three weeks. A nearby place sort of rudely told us an hour wait. With our blood sugar dropping and unsure where to go, I panicked that our last meal would be a horrible chain experience, and then we stumbled upon S2S. Upon walking in we had the sweetest, warmest greeting from owner Stephanie who immediately sat us. The meal was amazing - as foodies from Seattle we knew northern Michigan had excellent food, but we did not expect to be so blown away. Everything was literally perfect. And we didn’t even get to try the baked goods at the front. This meal saved this parental goodbye from a total dad-fail to a complete home run. My kid even admitted to some anxiety about three weeks away and Stephanie was so present with her and so thoughtful with her advice that my kid walked away with their head high ready to face three weeks of camp. Already planning the pick up weekend around a return meal at S2S….

It’s a small place, but your table is worth the wait! Today was quiche, but not like quiche you might be expecting. From the crust to the combination of ingredients, everything melds perfectly. The staff is very efficient and friendly, even as busy as they are.
