I’m not saying an infant can claim the best taste buds—but between the atmosphere, the delish dishes, and the staff—we make the trip to S2S every time we’re in town.We managed to snap a photo of the towering pancakes w/ thyme syrup before we devoured them; but just barely so. We also landed the quiche, the savory waffle w/ beef, and the divine baked goods. Literally, everything was delectable. The staff are kind and patient, even with our infant’s mess. Don’t take our word for it, RUN THERE!

I'm so sad that I didn't get to go back to this place for breakfast a second time. Everything was perfect about this dish. The fish cake was perfectly crispy and tender inside, the grits were smooth and flavorful, the greens were seasoned appropriately, the hollandaise was creamy (NOT broken), the egg yolk was still runny with a tiny bit of jamminess with what wasn't. I could even taste the lemon!I had a buttercream lavender cookie as well that was super tasty! I wish I had gotten a picture of the baked treats, because the were all gorgeous. The service and atmosphere absolutely matched the quality of the food as well! I sat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with my server when she had a moment between tasks. You could tell that she loved working there and was excited to see others enjoy the food. It's a shame I'm all the way in TN! I hope to return someday. ?

Great atmosphere, friendly & knowledgeable staff, locally sourced food with an ever-changing menu (except some non rotating fan-favorites). Not everything on the menu is what it seems, but trust me... in the BEST of ways! The most basic things are either thoughtfully re-imagined or classed up with creative in-season ingredients. I had the brisket and waffles which were pretty good. The waffle, perfectly poached egg and hollandaise was a killer combo. The brisket was quite dry and the other two people around me who ordered it didn't each much of that part either... although the rest was satisfying to all the senses! My assumption is that it was just an off day because everyone in there (and it was comfortably buzzing with obvious regulars and newbies alike) seemed genuinely happy not only with their food, but with just being able to spend time in and experience such a well curated, heart and soul driven venue. Looking around at the other tables - Everything was plated in the care of a high end restaurant with the visual flair even the most die-hard foodie can't help but to take a picture of. Beautiful live plants and hanging home grown herbs paired with the fun and tasteful yet hip art (and music) really brings the space together and makes you feel at home. Btw - Their baked goods are off the charts!!! I can't wait to go back with friends to try the rest of the menu... again.... and again.... and again....

The experience here starts with a warm welcome and complementary biscotti. So so homey! Their beverages are great and food is divine. The flavors and ingredients are extremely intentional. The cinnamon roll was DELISH! My favorite breakfast spot in TC!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the local restaurant S2S. I must say, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The moment I walked in, I was greeted and made to feel welcomed.Every dish that was served to me was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavors that danced on my taste buds. Each bite was a delightful surprise. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes were expertly prepared, showcasing the chef’s creativity.Aside from the exceptional food, the service was impeccable. The waitress and owner were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. They were happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had, adding a personal touch to the overall experience.Overall, my visit to this restaurant was a memorable one. I would highly recommend this S2S restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable culinary adventure. My new favorite restaurant!

My new favorite restaurant! I am deeply in love with the savory waffle and brisket and plan my trips to Traverse around my ability to get one. Every time we go the menu has changed a little and everything sounds delicious! If I ever get tired of the waffle I look forward to trying something else.
