How did it take us so long to find this place? SO good!!! Will definitely be regular customers. Best Pad Thai I’ve ever had, and everything my family ordered was absolutely delicious! Wonderful customer service, too.

I absolutely love this little place and it’s clear locals do, as well. My family and I visited for lunch and watched more than ten takeout orders leave as we ate. Everything was delicious and authentic and the egg rolls and Thai tea were absolutely perfect. The woman working was so kind and patient with my daughter. The flavor and spice was perfect. I took my leftovers home and they were just as good the second time around. They’re 45 minutes from me and worth the drive.

Awesome spot for Laotian & Cambodian food. Owners, husband and wife, together represent both countries as first generation immigrants.Food is superb. I ordered noodles with peanut sauce, and it was splendid. My spouse ordered bamboo noodles with tofu, also profound. They don’t offer the more familiar Asian cuisine many Americans are accustomed to seeing at fusion restaurants; it’s uniquely Southeast Asian food.Looking back, I wish I had tried their Pho ?I know it would have been good.Stop by if you’re in Traverse City area! You won’t be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Meat is optional for most menu items (probably all if you ask).Dietary restrictions: Vegan was no problem, vegetarian was even easier. Meat is add-able.Kid-friendliness: Owners also have kids. They keep toys onsite. Our kids did great ?Wheelchair accessibility: East access.

My friends have been trying to get me to try Samsara for a long time now, and they were right, I regret not trying it sooner. The dining room is small and intimate. You can eat here alone, or in a small group (space permitting). We dined as a table of seven, with four enthusiastic teenagers (I’m an educator), and my friend called ahead when planning the outing with students, just because we wanted to make sure it was ok to have such a big table. We were treated like we were dining in a friend’s home. Our waitress guided us through the menu options, and the kids had lots of questions about different dishes and spice levels. I can’t handle spice and am a complete wuss. She got a read on everyone’s spice tolerance, and prepared their meals accordingly, bringing out extra sauce for if the kids wanted to push themselves further. There were a lot of red faces and we drank several pitchers of water, but no one left unhappy. This is some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life. The dishes are created with such careful attention to detail, and the combination of flavors is mesmerizing. I wish I were a food critic so I had the words to describe how wonderful it was. Most importantly, Samsara radiates kindness. Every customer who walked through the door seemed to notice and appreciate that.Vegetarian options: The tofu is immaculate, no matter what dish it comes in. I was worried about crab being in the rangoons, but they made them vegeterian friendly. I’m not sure if they always are vegetarian, or if they did that just because I asked, but they were the best rangoons I’ve ever had in my life.Dietary restrictions: They will work with you to make sure everything meets your needs. There are so many options and ways to make dishes vegetarian.

Amazing food and great service! This will definitely be one of my lunch gems for when I want to treat myself. I got the katsu and egg drop soup, the portions were generous while still being very good quality

I got a recommendation for this restaurant and am delighted with the outcome! I forgot the name of the dish, but the orange chicken entree had such a unique texture and there were some peanut Curry noodles that my partner got that were absolutely delicious. I am blown away by how friendly this little spot was. Super grateful that this is the choice we made for lunch today.

Went for dinner with a friend. The Pad Thai was delicious ? The egg drop soup is fresh, flavorful & comes with little cubes of tofu that melt in your mouth! I don’t even eat tofu! Definitely coming back!

Food is absolutely amazing. The heat was perfect, where you get the heat only after tasting all the flavor. My peanut tofu curry was incredible. Perfect noodles, crisp tender veggies, silky sauce, tofu was the best I've had in a long time. Highly recommend!
