Food was excellent. Atmosphere is upscale but with a dim lighting that makes it intimate. Customer service was on point considering how busy they were. They have linen napkins, if you know then you know. We started off with the spinach & artichoke dip which was served in a cast iron skillet. It should be served with more bread but was still very flavorful. Servings are not huge but enough to fill you up & the quality of the ingredients & care the food is prepared with makes up for that. I recommend the lasagna which came in a small cast iron skillet đ€Ż.Chicken Parmesan breast was very thick & fried perfectly served with a noodle wider than regular spaghetti noodles. The marinara was the heart & soul of these 2 dishes. The shrimp Alfredo, which could have had a few more shrimp was rich & creamy but not overpowering. I do recommend reserving a table because this place always seems to be busy.

We had a fantastic dinner at Sorellina! Our server Ava did a great job, we all enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We had tasty halibut, surf and turf, and the Tips & Fungi were delicious as well. Plus the location was perfect for the Cherry Festival, we'll definitely visit here again!

Very disappointing eggplant Parmesan.
Way undercooked and tough . Our table was so dark that we couldn't read the menu without a flashlight

Went here for dinner with a group of girls to celebrate our bride to be. We sat in the side of the restaurant with the piano bar. Everyoneâs food was so beautiful and delicious. The manager was accommodating and so kind and got our group a nice, semi private booth towards the back. Our waitresses were kind as well. The espresso martinis were pretty strong, but overall great experience here! The piano man gave our bride a shout out and surprised her with a cool sign with her and her fiancĂ©âs name on it!

Sorellina â Exceptional Italian Dining in Downtown Traverse City Every great trip needs that one memorable mealâand for anyone visiting Traverse City, Sorellina is where I send my clients for a truly special dining experience. Located right in the heart of downtown, Sorellina blends upscale Italian cuisine with a relaxed, welcoming vibe. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and invitingâbut it was the staff who really made the experience shine. They were not only knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings, but genuinely fun to chat with. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in both the service and the energy of the space. And the food? Absolutely outstanding. Every dish was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavorâfrom the fresh pastas to the perfectly balanced sauces. The attention to detail here is impeccable. Whether youâre a seasoned foodie or just craving great Italian, Sorellina delivers. Itâs an ideal dinner spot after a day of wine tasting, cherry-picking, or shopping downtown. I always tell my travelers: make a reservation, go hungry, and let the staff guide youâbecause you wonât want to miss a bite. đâš Sorellina is a must-do dining destination in Traverse City. Elegant, flavorful, and unforgettable.
I donât often give so-so reviewsâŠ..
The food was average and really underwhelming. Note, we had a table of twelve and that can be difficult but the wait time from order to service was unacceptable. The waiter tried hard but nothing you can if the kitchen is jammed. I might go back but Iâd think twice. Live music was nice and they need some sound dampening installed as it was overwhelming.

Spinach artichoke dip was excellent. Chicken Pesto was also very good. Chicken parm was well done and I would eat it again. Definitely a great meal.
