Union-busting and bottom-tier drinks. Local staff are great, everything else is terrible.

In no other area of my life would I settle for paying premium money for an incorrect item. I find it amazing that 7 people working at a franchise cannot get an order correct. I was the only customer inside the establishment, and I waited 10 - 15 minutes.

Slowest in town, orders are consistently wrong. Expect a minimum 15 minutes in the drive-thru line.

I was having a pretty rough day because my flight got cancelled and I needed a place to hang out for a few hours. The staff was incredibly accommodating and very friendly. I've been to many Starbucks across the country and this was the best experience I've had of all of them. If I want coffee the next time I'm in Traverse City, I will be coming back to this store.

When this location first opened up I was so excited due to the convenience of it being so close to my work. However, the last few times I have either ordered in the drive thru or on the mobile app they have messed my order or up or completely lost the ticket for it. I will not be coming back.

Let me start off by saying that all of the employees here are great. But I want to single out Zach here. What an amazing human being!! He always sounds happy over the headset when taking my order. I always get a bright smile and he asks how im doing. You can tell that he is just a happy person. That can make all the difference when its early in the morning! Get more employees like Zach!!

Shoutout to the Starbucks on Garfield near S. Airport…
I work in hospice and some days can feel heavy. Today is one of those days. On top of that, I have a cold and a froggy voice so I stopped into Starbucks to get a drink to coat my throat. When I got to the pickup area, there were TWO drinks waiting for me. Confused, I asked the staff if this was correct. The man who had taken my order said, “oh yeah, that’s for you. It’s one of our teas with a little lemon and honey for your throat.”
I’m not a frequent customer and I was only in the shop for a few minutes. This man took notice of my situation, addressed me by name (I was wearing my name tag for work) and filled a need. This truly was a great customer service moment.

Past 3 times I’ve been there they have given me the wrong drink. They did give me a free correct drink each time (as they should) but refuse to even THROW AWAY the incorrect one. Then today, I pulled up and the girl at the window was not even paying attention as I ordered. Then I was given the wrong drink AGAIN and was given attitude when I asked if they could get rid of the incorrect one. Won’t be going back again
