Thirsty Fish Sports Grille

We spent three plus hours on the outdoor patio last night at Thirsty Fish and due to our server, Holly, enjoyed a fantastic time. She was very attentive and had a great sense of humor. All the food (onion rings superb) was tasty. Listened to Jay Hawkins Band and they put on a terrific performance. Fantastic laid back atmosphere, too! Thanks, Thirsty Fish!

Looks like a typical corner bar, however the food was very good. Had the salmon, highly recommend!

Owner is rude, insolent, and uneducated. She is also not a fan of the 1st Amendment of the United States and thinks she owns the sidewalk. I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

It's pretty bad when the owner of the place call the cops on a man holding a camera on a public sidewalk. Don't care if the food is good or bad, I don't recommend going there. You might get harassed for holding your phone.

Such a great restaurant! Mozzarella sticks were amazing! Cold beer, great service!

Came in on a Sunday afternoon, seated ourselves. I was excited to try a new spot (for us) in traverse city since I am not local. I think the spot has great potential but sadly only one server / bartender was working the entire floor. Made for No Refill (on my water) never got my coca-cola I asked for. Also it took about 10 minutes to get a side of ranch for my onion rings that were very very lightly battered . Not the waitress fault just should be better staffed and she’d kill it. Possible call offs and such I know is a struggle so cannot put it all on her or the one cook in the back.

The service was good and atmosphere was good. Good band. Unfortunately, our food was overpriced for what we got. $11 for small plate onion rings was a bit much. The spicy margarita was not spicy and did not have a chipotle pepper rim nor jalapeño slice as advertised. Our group of 7 got our food at different times. It was a 20 minute difference from first person to last. It would not have been so disappointing had that waitress apologized or addressed the reason for the delay.

it was okay , staff was friendly and tried , the long island was not right at first and mostly brown in color and didnt taste like a long island , in a small plastic throw away cup no straw she did re make and it was better and said it must've been bottom of batch so she changed it out ? . I've never sent back a drink before BTW. food was okay i got the shrimp basket and my husband steak and vegetables , we also got the fried mushrooms , I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning from this place because its the last thing I ate that night and woke up sick , me and my daughter both got sick and we had the same thing . 😢 so i can't recommend this place off this one time eating. there at least .

Holly made my day she was on point kept my glass full and the entire bar, happy you can truly tell when someone is good at there job and she is it

The service was good and it has a solid atmosphere, but the prices are ridiculous for the food you get. I spent $115 for 2 drinks and dinner for 4. My salmon was the most a tasteless food I've ever had. My daughter's chicken strips look like they were from a TV dinner.
