Always great food & we finally got there on a weekday for the salad bar! Hot & cold sandwiches with the ability to customize.

I was originally heading to Jersey Mike’s for a go-to sandwich, but spotted The Chef’s In and decided to give it a try, so glad I did. I had the Turkey & Swiss, and it was absolutely phenomenal. Fresh ingredients, flavorful, and the sauces they use really take it up a notch.

It was a bit crowded and there was a wait, but the small-town vibe and quality made it worth it. Prices are a little on the higher side for the portion size, but the flavor and experience made up for it. Very happy I stopped in.

Awesome, a pleasure, the entire experience from the food to the staff is always incredible. It is an attached facility with multiple stores and, of course, a restaurant, and they go above and beyond to ensure everyone is taken care of. We come up from Muskegon, Michigan, and we never regret the experience or the drive.

Nothing really wrong with anything. A little weird they want you to fill out a slip of paper to order, but no big deal.

Veggies sandwich I ordered was just doing too much to be really good. Nothing wrong with it but really not a big fan of the canned mushrooms either. Just bits of flavorless mush tbh.

Vegetarian sandwiches are not that hard and I hope meatless lunch meat makes it to the menu.

Fantastic sandwich shop! Buns were so light and fluffy! They do not skimp on the meat - thick cut and very flavorful. Best sandwiches in a long time! Did not have their salad bar but looked like a great alternative. Fresh brewed iced tea was also good. Parking is tight, may want to keep that in mind if coming during peak hours.

If you live or visit Traverse City, this is the place to eat! They catered for my kiddos 2nd Birthday. Each tray was well thought out with delicious sandwiches adorned with love and care. My dad, Jay H, suggested I use them to cater when I was planning. And I will do this for every birthday in future! It was that good. Not just the food, but the details in how they were plated was beautiful. 10+/10!

Just a good little sandwich and deli. Also has a salad bar.

Locals know about it but if you're visiting from out of town give it a shot, lots of choices on the hot or cold sandwich menu.

Sometimes I call ahead and they'll have my order ready when I get there.

Google does it again. We r from out of town. We Look for and go to 5 star restaurants , or at least as close to it as we can. This is a sandwich shop with freshly prepared sandwiches. The ones we ordered were the very best and the soup was great. Next to it is an upscale grocery store with rare selections including yellow fine tuna (on Fridays out of season). When we are in town on our Costco trips, this is a must stop.
