Would score this place is zero if I could. Food arrived cold. Ordered the giddyup melt. The bread was fresh out of the bag. The meat portion was abysmal. The cheese wasn’t melted. Paid 3.50 for a side of fries that was not included in the order. DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY ORDERING FROM HERE. One sandwich and fries, along with all Door Dash fees, order was just over $24. Door dash only refunded $7.06 for this disaster.
Never got acknowledged waited for 15-20 minutes never got to a table. I thought this race thing was over. Disappointed never go there again!!!!!
Very clean and big inside enough elbow room to eat. Had the Grand Slam breakfast! Great value, friendly service!
The best sandwich and onion rings I’ve had in TC in a very long time. The Groovy Melt and rings were delivered hot and fresh even having traveled across town on a very cold and bleak day. Kudos!
I'm only leaving a 2 star rating instead of a 1 because I actually never got a chance to eat much less even order. My wife and I walked in for breakfast early on a Monday morning to a very sparsely filled dinning area. Since a small amount of customers were dining, my wife asked if we could sit in a booth rather than a table. We normally would not ask to take up a booth with only 2 of us eating, but since the place was nearly empty, we figured it didn't matter. But apparently the host/ greeter scanned the room and quickly replied, "nope, some of the booths are dirty and we expect large groups coming in later"! Not wanting to cause a scene and really, not a big deal, we sat at an un level table exactly in the center of several other tables . While sitting there for 5-7 minutes , we were never visited by a waitress, no; water, coffee, menus, etc. We saw the waitress several times as did she see us. Feeling we were not going to be acknowledged, we left after 10 minutes and went down the street to Bob Evans where we had an excellent experience! The pathetic thing is, the original host saw us leaving , (we actually crossed paths), never questioned why were leaving; no apology or explanation for the lack of service.
I do not know why, but kids seem even more hungry when they are here. Mac and cheese, Oh my! I personally love the skillets. The menu has great inviting pictures, that make me even more hungry. They are usually busy, but worth the wait. Color crayons for the tots with their own menu. How can we go wrong. Always plenty of parking, good desserts, a little of everything. They also take AARP card discounts. Love that feeding a group. That takes care of the tip! Fill up the kiddies and they'll sleep all the way home from the waterpark in Traverse City.
Came in with the family a little after 3 today. Our server made us feel rushed, argued with my husband when he told her his hashbrowns was cold and never once got asked if we wanted refills on our sodas. Very muggy at the table, overall we are very disappointed
Absolutely amazing waitress! Two out of the past three times we dined in at Dennys, we had the pleasure of having Joanna as our waitress. Her personality, smile, patience (with our little ones) and strive to make sure we were completely satisfied is the top reason we continue to return. The food arrived quick, hot and delicious as always. This place has done a complete turn around, for the good, in the past year. We look forward to seeing our favorite waitress and eating our favorite breakfast food very soon.
My daughter and I stopped in for lunch. The staff was friendly and attentive. Good food lot's of it and very reasonable. Usually hit Don's drive in but they were slammed. Won't be an easy decision in the future.
Realizing restaurants are at 50% and that help is hard to find, we expect situations are not going to perfect. We arrived and were told it would be a 15-20 min wait. There was one man and a party of four ahead of us. After a few minutes, we were told the kitchen was backed up and they wouldn't be seating anyone for 30 minutes but they would seat us earlier if they could. The single man left and the party of four called Bob Evans and said there was no waiting. Since we had moved up to front of the line, we decided to give waiting a shot. Bad idea! As we continued to wait, at least 20 people came in and left after hearing about the 30 minute wait. One couple stayed and after people came in picking up carry-out orders, the couple asked if they were filling to go orders while we were standing their waiting. The manager said yes. They were upset and left and told them to quit answering their phones and seat customers who had bothered to come in. He said, "yeah, right..we're going to quit answering our phones." I told him that they (the couple) wasn't wrong. He said, "we're not going to quit taking to go orders." At that point, after having already been their 30 minutes and discerning even if we were sat and ordered the food would be another at least 30 minutes, we left and went to Bob Evans. We were seated immediately and had our food in 15 minutes. Bob Evans told us their strict policy is seated customers before carry-out. Denny's screwed this one up big time.

Yesterday, Oct. 13, 2020 went in for breakfast around 7:30 am with friends from work. There were approximately 15 of us. The manager for the day said that he didn't believe he could take care of us as we were a large group and he only had 1 waitress and cook on duty and could we come back around 9 am when another waitress came on duty. The restaurant was empty. After he talked with his waitress, we finally got seated. We ordered and got our meals. I don't know about the others, but the only thing hot or warm I got was my coffee. My eggs were refrigerator cold and looked like a glob of yellow matter on my plate. Bacon was burnt and the french toast was room temperature. Another member of the party didn't want eggs with his order and was told he had to have them as that's what came with his meal. We had never heard of such a thing. You don't want something, you don't get it, no questions asked. This isn't the first time I've had problem with this Denny's. Service has been terrible in the past and evidently it hasn't changed. We will not be returning to Denny's. Management just doesn't care and evidently neither does regional management.
Waited 15 minutes to be seated, another 15 minutes for waitress for drinks, ordered right then, waited 25 minutes no food. She forgot to turn in our order. Not enough staff. Ni apologies, nothing
