We got our cake done by Water's Edge Sweet Tooth & we're so glad we did. Working with Kim was so enjoyable and the tasting was something out of a rom-com!!

Kim was professional, listened to what we wanted, punctual with delivery and we ended up with the most beautiful and delicious cake EVER. I STRONGLY recommend the apple butter vanilla cake, I'll be dreaming about it forever.

They made the most delicious pair of cakes for my parent’s anniversary party. I emailed a photo of my parent’s cake from 1975 and Kim recreated the frosting decoration. The buttercream frosting was really delicious. I would definitely choose them for cakes in the future!

Absolutely delicious lemon cake for my bachelorette celebration! Beautifully decorated and had fresh strawberries inside — light, fresh, and perfect in every way!

We ordered vanilla cupcakes with a chocolate buttercream frosting for a birthday party and they were delicious! The cake was moist and very flavorful and the frosting was divinely smooth and light! Perfect! Everyone loved them! Highly recommend!

Ordered cupcakes by phone from out of town for a delivery to Interlochen, which has tight security. The owner, Kim, went out of her way to ensure the treats got exactly where they needed to be and on time. The whole experience was wonderful, and the cupcakes were yummy!

I went to order a cake for my parents' 29th wedding anniversary, the first time I ever ordered from here. I wanted a small cake 6in and everything chocolate. They delivered and I had a photo of what i wanted and they gave me just that I was very happy with my experience i will definitely order from here. I also ordered it only 3 days before I needed it. i was worried they would not be able to do it, but I'm so glad they could. The first photo is the inspiration. The 2 is what I got.

Weird ordered a cake on a saturday for a Tuesday for my brothers birthday and It was a chantilly cake and I’ve gotta say it is the best cake I’ve ever eaten in my life and I don’t really care for cake but this was astonishing thank you for the masterpiece

Oh my gosh I finally went in and I was blown away by the beautiful baked goods and the reasonable prices. The owners couldn't have been nicer and the baked goods are absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor and don't take as long as I did to go in there!♥️

Kim was very nice and the cookies special ordered for son’s wedding rehearsal dinner were beautifully done and delicious. I received so many compliments and many people wanted the bakery name and address so they could visit if coming to Traverse City!

Firstly, I just want to say that ordering the cake was easy. I called and the woman I spoke to was very nice. Customer service was great.

We came from Wisconsin and took extra time to find the right bakery to make our special wedding anniversary cake. We ordered a mocha cake with custard filling. The cake itself was moist which was great — most chocolate cakes tend to be dry but this one was not. There was nothing special about the custard — it was a thin layer and didn’t add much to the cake. As for the frosting, it was far too sweet and really took away from the cake flavor.

Overall we were happy with the flavor we got but the decoration itself was so disappointing. I have been decorating cakes and own my own cake business since 2019 and I would never send out a cake looking the way ours did. I gave creative freedom to the decorator when I ordered over the phone. All that was put on the top was poorly made flowers. The edges were horrendous. Improvements definitely need to be made and more practicing needs to be done. We were so disappointed with the cake we got after waiting weeks after ordering to see how it would turn out. The cakes advertised on the website are gorgeous and they look absolutely nothing like what we got… We spent $45 of our hard earned money for this special cake. Very disappointing!
