Oh my gosh I finally went in and I was blown away by the beautiful baked goods and the reasonable prices. The owners couldn't have been nicer and the baked goods are absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor and don't take as long as I did to go in there!♥️

Water's Edge Sweet Tooth created my dream wedding cake for our wedding in May 2024 and they did an amazing job! So easy to work with, made our mini cake exactly as we had hoped, and everything was so tasty! I would recommend them to everyone!

I ordered a custom martini cake and I can’t believe how beautiful it turned out! It was even better than my inspo pic I sent. The ganache in the middle of the cake was to die for. Thank you so so so much!!!!

Kim was very nice and the cookies special ordered for son’s wedding rehearsal dinner were beautifully done and delicious. I received so many compliments and many people wanted the bakery name and address so they could visit if coming to Traverse City!

Firstly, I just want to say that ordering the cake was easy. I called and the woman I spoke to was very nice. Customer service was great.

We came from Wisconsin and took extra time to find the right bakery to make our special wedding anniversary cake. We ordered a mocha cake with custard filling. The cake itself was moist which was great — most chocolate cakes tend to be dry but this one was not. There was nothing special about the custard — it was a thin layer and didn’t add much to the cake. As for the frosting, it was far too sweet and really took away from the cake flavor.

Overall we were happy with the flavor we got but the decoration itself was so disappointing. I have been decorating cakes and own my own cake business since 2019 and I would never send out a cake looking the way ours did. I gave creative freedom to the decorator when I ordered over the phone. All that was put on the top was poorly made flowers. The edges were horrendous. Improvements definitely need to be made and more practicing needs to be done. We were so disappointed with the cake we got after waiting weeks after ordering to see how it would turn out. The cakes advertised on the website are gorgeous and they look absolutely nothing like what we got… We spent $45 of our hard earned money for this special cake. Very disappointing!

Waters Edge made a beautiful cake for an engagement celebration i was hosting. I didn't give them a ton of notice and they were wonderful to deal with and figure out how we could make it work.
It was a two tier cake with two layers per tier. The lemon cake with the raspberry filling and Bavarian butter creme frosting was amazing!!! The frosting was also lemon, but white in color, which made for a truly elegant looking cake.
There were zero left overs. Everyone raved.
I highly recommend this business, it's friendly but professional owners/bakers and their delicious products and incredibly personal service.
Fantastic to find in this day and age. ?

Kim is so nice and easy going. I first met with her on the phone and I was very indecisive about what kind of cake I wanted for my wedding. She was very easy to work with and offered me many options. I ended up getting a small two tier cake with 14 one tier cakes as center pieces.. every single cake was completely eaten accept for two. The last two cakes everyone was arguing over who would get to take them home. Every wedding guest raved over how amazing the cakes tasted. If i could give 100 stars I would!

I cannot say enough great things about Water’s Edge Sweet Tooth Bakery. The owner was so helpful and patient assisting me with a birthday cake order. She has tons of pictures for decorating and her suggestions were spot on. The cake was spectacular and tasted as wonderful as it looked. Everyone, especially the honoree, raved about the flavors. Thank you Water’s Edge - this is our go to bakery now!

We're so glad we chose Kim and Water's Edge Sweet Tooth for our July 2024 wedding cake. Kim is super friendly and easy to work with. And of course, their cakes are delicious! We went with a tier of red velvet and two tiers of vanilla with fresh strawberries - and wow! Everyone at the wedding loved it!
