Yikes is the best way to describe this. No greeting when anyone walks in. 2 out of the 4 kiosks, the only way to order your food, were down and 1 was cash only. No one working there was paying attention to customers. Tables were all disgustingly dirty, one customer even ran out to grab baby wipes to clean their own table. Finally when someone did come out to greet the long line of people waiting for online orders, she made it clear she was supposed to be leaving. Finally got my food and the fries were ice cold, but it wasn’t worth waiting for new ones. This place is a disaster. The burgers are very good, but not worth the trouble.

It was a very long wait, I think they haveto get more organized with the orders better, they need more grill space and a bigger prep area and more room in the kitchen period, they need more space and need room to work, you need one cook for drive thru orders only and another for dine in and carry out and all the other workers doing drinks and sides and prep for both orders in sections so they can have the orders ready to go when the burgers are done, it was a lot of hands in the kitchen but it was too disorganized and people had to wait over an hour for their orders and a lot of customers were demanding refunds and complaining

Everything is do it yourself, then they expect a tip, ice machine is always empty floors are dirty an the food isn't good anymore. The shakes taste dirty. Don't waste your money going

The bar was set low when we decided to give Steak n Shake a try for the first time in like 10 years. But when we walked in, the damn bar fell on the floor! Not a worker in sight, and the only option was to order on kiosk... which is sorta fine except two kiosks were "out of order" and another was only taking cash. So we had to wait to order off the only working credit kiosks. The restaurant was EMPTY, the a/c was blasting cold air, tables were dirty and without any music on, the silence was giving off dystopian/ serial killer vibes. The WORST part was getting your pop. The pop machine is in POP PRISON! You have to scan a QR on your receipt to unlock the machine! Then when a group of boomers came in, I had to help them figure out the pop machine prison because there was no worker or even sign on how to free the damn pop. I ordered a Garlic Butter Burger and let me tell you they just soaked the bun in butter and dumped about half a shaker of garlic salt on top, so so salty. This was about 6pm on a Friday night and I thought we were in the backrooms of restaurant hell. If you want proof that we live in a simulation then come here. Really we tried it because I remembered reading about some kid that protested with a sign to reopen this... he should be embarrassed.

This place is pretty good for the first time I went there Steak and Shake but they didn't have any shakes the food was good the environment was kind of dirty floors were kind of nasty I'll probably go to another restaurant That is cleaner than that one

We used to love going to any Steak n Shake. I'm really sad to see the service we used to love is gone now. Prices have increased (I'm sure they couldn't help that). Restaurant was messy. No one spoke to us when we walked in (we didn't know there weren't hostesses anymore). I'm sad that they changed the function of the restaurant. It used to be so fun to go there.
there was a hair in my burger, not the color or length of my hair at all, and when i informed the staff they did not care at all, multiple employees not wearing hair nets. quite a unpleasant experience.

Owner of this establishment needs to re-evaluate the personal. The person on the grill was preparing sandwiches without a hairnet and gloves. That is a violation by the health department. I have made a complaint to Wayne County Health. I would recommend that folks stop eating at this location on till Wayne County places a health inspection card of approval to open to the public. The assistant manager lied to me as did a janitor who was listening to my conversation to a Wayne County representative.Parking: Lots of parking space.

Top notch fast food, burgers were great, onion rings awesome. Staff was working hard. Manager was keeping tables clean. Other than the self serve kiosks are silly. We came with our Aunt who is in a wheelchair and had plenty of room.

Waited almost an hour for 2 burgers, watched 2 people place their orders after me and got their food first. When we got our burgers they were cold and the fries were cold and soggy.
