Definitely a dive bar. Depends on who is serving you will determine your service quality. Go during the day time and service is great. The burgers and pizza are good. The fries are the best I have had. Beer is cold and mixed drinks are strong. My favorite bar during the daytime hours!

My favorite local dive bar. The floors and walls are crooked, it probably isn't structurally sound, but it has cool bartenders, good food, and a lot of history.
Burgers are like a Sunday night cookout. Delicious

Hubby and I found this place on our motorcycle trip. Is it run down? Yes. However, that is overlooked when you discover the friendly local patrons and awesome staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to patronize the tavern again. Hi to Suzie from Illinois (if you go, don’t call her Helen). If you know, you know.
