Sadly, this once loved place seems to be going downhill. Prices are up a lot. Food is going down. We started with chips, salsa and guacamole, $12. Just chips and salsa are $7. Most other places? $0.... Chips were stale, guac tasted of lime mostly.. Salsas - awesome. Next to drinks. Giant margarita glass filled with ice, and a little margarita. OK, but a 3 or 4 drink drink, if you get what I mean.Next came the $26 veggie fajitas. Yes, $26 for about 50 cents worth of peppers and onions and tomato. Not bad but $26? Shrimp fajitas were OK, $32. I had the tampiquena - a small steak, taco and enchilada. Enchilada was a lukewarm mushy mess - probably out of a steam table. Fried taco was cold, and had sour cream sprayed all over it, so I could not pick it up without getting it all over my hands, weird. And it pretty much had no flavor. Steak was OK.We loved this place when it first opened, but it has gotten a lot more expensive, and the drinks especially are smaller. We spent about $150 with a tip for 3 dinners and 2 drinks. Not worth it. Having said that, the restaurant is really cool looking and full of interesting Mexican glass, tile, and wood crafts. And the service is great.

Terrible service! Waited 45 minutes for a table, even though there were a lot of tables open and available. Many people were waiting to be seated, as the hostess made a lousy attempt to get people sat. We watched tons of people come in and leave because of the wait. We ended up sitting at a table by the bar that was open the entire time! I couldn’t believe it. I thought maybe it was off limits or something. Just a total waste of our time. They must be short staffed… but maybe sit people down at the open tables and offer some waters and chips while they wait. No? Is the hostess not able to help? Management must not be wearing their thinking caps, or they simply do not care. The serving crew was very unprofessional. No smiles, miserable looking, slow, and barely available. I had to get up and walk over to my server to get napkins and silverware… because we waited 10 minutes for him to come by our table with warm tap water and broken chips / salsa after we were seated. And that was after the 45 minute wait we did in the congested lobby! Oh yeah, we also couldn’t hear him at all because he refused to speak loud enough for any one to understand him. Besides that he seemed nice?We will NOT be coming back. There are much better options in the area that provide actual customer service, a more affordable menu and better food. Try Grand Azteca or El Guanaco instead of Aldana’s. Food here was okay, but overpriced for what you get. They charged us for extra chips after the basket they gave us was basically all broken chips from the bottom of the barrel. They had NO diet soda pop options. None, they were “all out.”Must be bad management / owners. I could never imagine letting my business be operated this poorly. Go somewhere else!

The food was good and hot. However, the service was absolutely TERRIBLE. Our server had an attitude and said he couldn’t change our order because it goes straight to the kitchen after the order is imputed on the handheld. Okay sir, it’s called COMMUNICATION. Our server did not check on us. He did not have just basic customer service skills. I will not be back..

Tonight I have done something I've never done before and that is delete a previous 5 star review. My food was good. No complaints with my order. I tasted a friend's order and even said that it was the best steak I have tasted in a Mexican restaurant. The issue was management. I have now read other reviews and see that this place is under new management. I have never in life witnessed management arguing with a customer over a concern with their food. Even going as far as to insinuate that they were not being truthful.I do not care how good food may be, attempting to accuse a customer is the BEST way to lose a customer. This was my 4th and FINAL visit to Aldana. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This has been the WORST experience I've ever had at a restaurant in my life!! Our food tasted terrible and instead of replacing it the manager Monica became extremely combative and unprofessional. She insisted we were wrong about what we tasted in our own mouths/taste buds. Also, the server Trisha T. was dry AF and had no customer service skills at all. Both of them itches needs to take some customer service classes. I received better service at McDonald's at 12am on a Saturday night. These McNasty itches tried it. Will never return.

Restaurant only half full we waited 15 mins at table no server no menu. We asked manager walking by if someone was going to wait on us. She seems annoyed we stopped her. We started to leave a server came brought water & free chips we ordered drinks waited again for 15 mins. Ordered the 3 fish combo fajitas was told no scallops. We asked for extra soft shells & they charged us. This is the fourth time there definitely not going back. Too expensive for such terrible service

I visited Aldana for dinner on a weeknight, and without a reservation, my sister and I were able to be seated right away on the patio. We sat down and were greeted with chips and salsa (which is always the best part of going to a Mexican restaurant). Their menu is honestly huge so it took me a while to decide what to order, but I ended up going with the chiles rellenos. I didn't add in any extra protein, but it was still very filling! It was very flavorful, served with a side of tortillas, and rice and beans. It was sooo delicious. I was surprised with how fast the food came out! It felt like we had just put in our order and it was already ready. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the prices were fair, the service was great, and the food was excellent. I have no complaints about this place! I will definitely come back!

Tried this Mexican restaurant for the first time. Food was excellent (chicken tortilla soup, steak fajitas, burrito) and service was excellent. There was a short wait to get a table (they told us 30mins, but we were seated in about 15). Our server Brittany was attentive, helpful and very nice. The only disappointment for our daughter was the fried ice cream, it wasn’t what she’s used to at another restaurant.
