Today was my 1st visit to this Big Boy location as the one closest to my home is the Hall road location. The place was spotless, the service was wonderful the atmosphere cheerful and it was busy with many seniors and others having lunch. I gave 5 stars in all categories EXCEPT overall and this is why. There were many seniors today enjoying lunch but one elderly couple close to me ordered their sandwich and told the waiter they wanted to share it. The waiter kindly explained he could do that but had to charge them $.50 to do so. WHAT???? Today this just hit me sideways and I had to say something. This is not a Ruth Chris restaurant. Is it the extra plate you bring out? Because you bring me a plate with my cup of soup that I don’t need and happily bring me extra plates or spoons when I’ve shared a dessert at other Big Boy’s at no additional fee so this must be this location. Sandwiches already come out cut in two pieces to the table so really they wouldn’t need to even tell you they were splitting it, but they did because they are honest from their generation. I speak up for the elderly because it could be my parents or yours. Big Boy’s on 15 mile road in Troy… you know you can do better for our seniors!

I always go to this place every time I come to Metro Detroit. It’s a family tradition. I really love their burgers and their breakfast. And especially their salad bar. Great place to go.

We recently discovered sliders at Big Boy. Great little burgers. Like a miniature Big Boy. We liked them.

Been coming to this location for 20 plus yrs .it's a favorite of my Daughter. The place has changed since last time I was here . The table was sticky and had not been cleaned yet . My salad had a rotten tomato on it . I ordered the Santa fe potato cakes they sound amazing .. sadly I did not get them .. the ones I got were not bad just not what I ordered . The server Myia was very nice and offered to make it right . But I did say it was okay, I was already eating them and didn't want to send them back . Overall the location is still one of the best. Maybe they can work with the kitchen staff on getting rid of produce that's bad and reading the tickets better . Won't stop me from coming back though .
