Saturday 8:30 PM ET, I walk-in, there's no wait, the hostess greets me, and sits me (by myself) in a booth.I was really looking forward to my meal - chicken tenders with a side of Frank's Hot Sauce, a 4-piece Detroiter and a Coke Zero.Table - check. Menu - check. Silverware - check. Ready to order.And I wait. Hostess sits another couple two tables away.Still waiting. I hear the bartender tell the customers at the bar that she won't be the regular bartender tomorrow. A staff member walks toward table, passes by me, buses a table behind me and returns to the kitchen.Still, I wait. A waitress checks on a table between myself and the couple just sat two booths over.The staff member busing tables, returns, passes by, buses more items from the table behind me and again returns to the kitchen.I notice a waiter continuing to arrange chairs and what appears to be closing down another section of the restaurant. Humm.I check my watch. Eleven (11) minutes has passed since I was seated, and I have yet to be greeted by waitstaff.I'm done waiting and I exit stage left without being greeted.Too much to ask for?I'm a reasonable person. If the establishment was slammed, on a wait at the door, I would be understanding. But not tonight.Simply no reason except piss-poor customer service - which is really sad to experience as I frequent this Buddy's location at least twice a month. I truly hope this isn't a vision of things to come!

If you're only going to go to one place for Detroit style pizza, you won't be disappointed at Buddy's! The pizza was so delicious, I went back a second time in three days. Excellent service and a separate pick up area if you get it to go. Highly recommend!!

We ordered pizza from Buddys this past weekend. We usually rank them among the best, but boy, was it awful. The pizza sauce was terrible. The pizza had no taste. The sausage was burnt. And to make matters worse when he came to pick it up, they told him they forgot to put it in the oven.I sure hope this was a fluke.

Excellent pizzas and affordable drinks. I did really enjoyed the food and the place.
If you are looking for Detroit Deep Dish this is it. Shield’s is good, but this is better. It is a little pricey though, but when I crave that crunchy crust with brick cheese, it does the trick. I like the spicy Italian pizza, it is delicious.

Pizza is a little expensive but well worth it. Nice crispy bottom with a nice chew on top. Sauce on the top of the toppings, but it wasn't messy.
