Food was great, came out quickly despite our staggered ordering requests. Maybe we got lucky with our server who was a seasoned pro.

I had lunch recently at California pizza in the Somerset mall , Troy, Mi Deb was our server and she was extremely attentive to our needs , she came up with suggestions in terms o choosing the cheese and the right dressing that paired with the ingredients in the salad. Very pleasant and helpful. Salad was fresh and plentiful, they also serve a delicious complementary bread with olive oil. I’ll frequent that restaurant more often in the future. Thank you DEB for making our first experience in that locale very enjoyable!

We ordered the Neapolitan Burrata pizza, Chipotle pizza, Dynamite Shrimp, and the Butter Cake for dessert. The burrata pizza was light and fresh, the chipotle pizza had great smoky flavors with beans and corn, and the dynamite shrimp was crispy with a nice tangy kick. The real standout was the Butter Cake — warm, rich, and absolutely a must-try. Overall food was very good, though the service was just okay.

We frequent CPK and always had great experience from food to customer service. However, our most recent visit was exceptional- it was busier than usual for 3pm but the manager, Kenya, made sure we were sat promptly and taken care of immediately. We appreciated her stopping by to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. Our server, Carlos, was so funny and attentive- highly recommend requesting to be sat in his section if he’s available!

After a long day of shopping, we stopped in and had a wonderful dinner. Our server Alyssa was amazing! She was very cheerful and attentive to what was needed at the table. Alyssa was also very knowledgeable of the menu and made some excellent recommendations. We can't wait to eat here again!!

Unfortunately I was really disappointed in my experience here. As soon as I walked in the vibe felt strange, the greeter barely said a word to me and my friend and was just staring at us in silence. But we get to our table and we were excited to eat. We ordered an appetizer that I didn’t end up loving, which wasn’t a big deal, but then our server tells us they were completely out of pizza, we were disappointed but it was fine and we each ordered something else. My friend ended up ordering three different times cause each time they would return to our table and say we can’t make that for you today. Then I had either a chef or a manager, I’m not sure, come up to our table, and for some reason he only addressed me even though I wasn’t alone and kept asking if I needed a manager and what the mix up was, I guess I appreciate him checking in but it was an uncomfortable interaction. The dinner wasn’t going great but I hadn’t asked for a manager, we just wanted to eat something, but we were very confused. After a while of ordering back and forth we get our food and sadly we weren’t pleased with our entrees, I’m not a very picky eater normally, but my pasta was like drowning in lemon, it just wasn’t appealing. I was thinking of ordering dessert to lighten up the mood but I did see a small bug in my menu and I just wanted to go home so we did after that. But I wanted to add our waitress did the best she could, she was kind and apologetic, and none of it was her fault. I also wanted to add that the moment we started collecting our things someone was wiping down our chairs and cleaning our table, while we were still there, which I respect they have a job to do, but my point is overall it wasn’t a welcoming atmosphere and I didn’t enjoy anything except the bread, the bread was nice though I will say. But it was a long, uncomfortable, and confusing night and I paid a good amount of money for a meal I didn’t really enjoy. I’m not sure if I will return after my experience here.

One of my favorite restaurants in the metro Detroit aria, the food is always good, fresh and very tasty. The staff are very friendly and nice let alone the place is always clean. If you haven’t had their food you’re missing out.

We ate in tonight and our server was amazing (Shoutout to Mary!!!). When I informed her I have celiac she made sure the cook, and manager knew about it and even explained to me their protocols. We loved Mary!!!!
