I’ve been hearing about City Barbeque in Troy for years and finally got to try it it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, Tracy greeted us with a smile and took the time to explain everything on the menu, which made ordering so easy. The food was absolutely delicious — tender, flavorful, and fresh. Top-notch barbecue all the way! We will definitely be coming back.

Despite being a restaurant chain, the food was pretty damn good. Big sampler kind of guy, so I tried a bunch of stuff. Highlights were the brisket, turkey, and honestly, chicken tenders w/ the Nashville Hot seasoning. I'd sadly skip the ribs, but get the hush puppies. Jack did a good job helping us out. It was cute inside, but his frog hat was the highlight of the environment. There should be more of that in these establishments. Maybe some cool stuff too, like a life sized...
