Very good food and awesome service!
Very delicious food and friendly staff
Food is good. Frequent here often. What turned me off was the waitress chasing me outside for me to change my receipt by increasing the tip. She goes on to say it’s mandatory 18%. Then MAKE IT A FEE LIKE IT USED TO BE. But im pretty sure it’s something illegal to it if YOU ARE NOT DOING IT SEEING THAT YOU USED TO INCLUDE IT. I enjoy their food but sadly I will not be returning. Like I said I come here often and chasing me outside for $8 is ridiculous when I literally come here minimum twice a month and they’ve never done that. Will be reporting this behavior to see where it goes.
Visiting from Toronto and we were really glad to have stopped by. The food was great and staff were incredibly welcoming.
I been here last week and server has bad attitude , we eat almost $130 and a we tipped $17 and server said the tip is not enough . So terrible place . The Korean people in America they never tip in anywhere they go also they tip less than 5% why they asking American people more tip. .
I had a great Mother’s Day dinner here! We enjoyed Army Stew, Cold Noodles, and Jjamppong, all delicious. The service was fantastic—the waitress brought so many Banchan that they could’ve been a meal on their own.
After dinner, we grabbed dessert at Baskin Robbins, and my sister did some shopping at H Mart next door. A wonderful meal without spending a fortune—the perfect way to celebrate!
I’ve been here so many times and I still love this place, Dae Jang Keum is the best Korean restaurant in Troy in my opinion.
Quality Korean BBQ, nice dining environment, and friendly service, all with reasonable price, what else can I ask for?

We were in Troy to shop at Hmart and got hungry for Korean food for lunch, so we found a restaurant right next door. It’s a Korean BBQ spot with a few other Korean dishes on the menu. My husband ordered the Kalbi and tofu soup combo—he enjoyed the grilled Kalbi with mushrooms and bell peppers, but thought the soup was just okay. I went with the spicy buckwheat noodles, which were good, though different from what I’ve had at other Korean restaurants. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, with plenty of BBQ tables and a large bar area.

Got in just as they opened.
The service is very quick, attentive to drinks, too. The music is soft modern Korean a touch louder than I prefer but not overly intrusive.
An upscale feel permeates the place.
We ordered 6 spicy chicken wings as an appetizer before each ordering a stew, I went with Military stew, my friend's choice was Bulgogi stew.
With all the condiment vegetables, rice and the wings before our main showed up, we could've skipped the stews and still been full. We both took half our main fish home.
The wings were huge, delicious and not terribly spicy.
I was told the Military Stew has pork. It's actually hot dog, cut diagonally. With a couple pieces of pork, tofu, ramen, onion, kimchi & spices a little Velveeta on top. It was good but a bit different than what I envisioned.
Prices are seemingly high for lunch, roughly $14-17 for entrees, but for the tremendous quantity of food received, I have zero complaints.
Parking: Big corner shopping center with several restaurants and two markets.
Wheelchair accessibility: Straight shot in, solid concrete floor, lots of space between tables.

I really love Korean food. That being said, I like to cook my own food at a Korean BBQ. This allows me to set my own pace to cook and eat. Our server kept bringing the food out and cooking it, taking it off, cooking more, etc. Faster than we could eat it, and it was getting cold. I guess I understand most patrons don't understand the process of cooking the food, and really, it's my own for not stopping her. That being said, she was very nice and the food was awesome! I just had to eat it faster than I wanted to.

My 15year old grandson wanted to introduce his friends to the Japanese cuisine . His friends were happy with the flavors and atmosphere.
