Chicken is very spicy, but flavorless. I've been twice and both times the spice was at a great level if you want to sweat a little, but just has no seasoning to back it up.
Skin is also hard, not crispy and takes away from the overall texture. I want to like this chicken more, lots of people have recommended it to me, but I think it comes down to people just putting too much value in the heat.

We catered a large order from this store for a grad party. They did a fantastic job in having the food ready on time and were very courteous. They were detail oriented and provided associated condiments.
Most importantly, the sliders were an overwhelming hit. People kept coming for them and even took them home. The sauce is particularly popular.
I would highly recommend them for small and large orders. It’s like chick fillet with a kick for young people.

The best service I have experienced in quite sometime! Michayla was absolutely amazing! Her energy and enthusiasm literally brought out the energy in me that I needed to let out! She was friendly, kind, & had a beautiful smile! This is very rare recently with having that experience and she literally brought the sunshine and energy out. Very important for a returning customer like myself! Because of that experience I will be returning and I am from the Algonac area which is a drive but worth it! Thank you!!

I don’t know what kind of poultry Pandora’s box I opened when I walked into Dave’s Hot Chicken, but after two bites, I was immediately met with deep regret — and not just the kind that makes you question your food choices, but the kind that makes you stare at the wall wondering if this is how it ends.
Let’s start with the chicken. Visually? It looked promising — crispy, generously seasoned, served in that classic greasy fast-casual tray that whispers, “this will be worth it.” But two bites in, I felt an internal alarm go off. A heavy, greasy sludge began to pool in my stomach, and my taste buds were less impressed with the “spice” and more concerned with the off, almost chemical undertone that lingered like a bad decision.
Fast forward thirty minutes and I was praying for mercy on a bathroom floor, violently questioning my life. What followed can only be described as a biblical gastrointestinal reckoning — a full-force, high-velocity, liquid evacuation that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. It was as if my body had issued a code-red emergency: “Purge the Hot Chicken. All of it. Now.”
I’ve eaten street food in developing countries with fewer consequences.
This wasn’t heat — this was hubris wrapped in a wet bun. Never again. If Dante had known about Dave’s, it would’ve been the 10th circle of hell. Proceed with extreme caution, or better yet, don’t proceed at all.
The manager Stephan went over and beyond to make sure my concern was addressed and properly compensated. HANDS DOWN He was the BEST MANAGER I have ever encountered. He deserves a raise. His whole staff and TEAM are ALWAYS RESPECTFUL.KIMD AND GENEROUS. ALWAYS. My family don't trust eating no restaurants chicken but DAVES HOT CHICKEN
