I had only been to Eddie V's once before, for seafood, naturally. Tonight I was in the mood for a steak. I'm usually a little hesitant to order a steak when the house specialty is seafood, but theirs rivals any steakhouse. I had the 22oz bone in ribeye. It was done to perfection and the crab fried rice was amazing. I'm hooked!

We had a disappointing experience during what should have been a celebratory night. Our server was extremely pushy when it came to ordering both drinks and food, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere that felt more about upselling than hospitality. I had a bad feeling about the interaction, so I kept my receipt—and I’m glad I did.
I later discovered that I had been charged $4 more than the amount I signed for. While $4 may not seem like a big deal, tip altering is fraud, plain and simple. I called and spoke with the manager, who confirmed I wasn’t the only one at my party that this had happened to. He refunded the $4, but considering we spent over $800, I expected the situation to be handled with more care and accountability.
This kind of dishonesty is unacceptable, and I hope management takes a closer look at their staff and their practices.

Atmosphere is great, service is okay, I ordered a medium steak and it was completely overcooked… for the restaurant being as expensive and luxurious as it is, you’d think they could cook a steak right.

This crab cake is amazing just order a carry out but I am upset that they did not put any utensils in my bag or the crab cake sauce. That is unacceptable. But never the less I will be back. lol and I will be checking the bag.

Eddie V’s is the best prime restaurant in metro Detroit. The food was perfection and the bone-in ribeye melts in your mouth. Nolan and Michael are a perfect team ensuring impeccable service. We will be back.

This is my favorite Metro Detroit restaurant. The food is delicious and the menu choices are excellent, but what is even better is the service. The moment you pull up at valet, to the hostess and all of the wait staff it is a warm, gracious and impeccable experience of quality. I took a friend who'd never been and she said she felt like a queen. Michael was our server and he was exceptional.
