Your Chef makes or breaks your experience. Our Chef put a little seasoning on the rice!!!! None on the chicken, shrimp or steak!! I had to request extra garlic butter and salt & pepper at the end. The food was also prepared in an order where everyone at the table was nearly finished with rice and meat, then received vegetables with NO Butter or Seasoning at the end. Please train chefs to cook in the same process

The restaurant has changed .. the prices are inflated and the service is sub par compared to in the past ..

The food was actually good. The chef had no energy. It was Valentine's Day. He did nothing with. I love you with the food. He did no heartbeats with the food. He did no food tricks the other guy that was the waiter. He was very rude. He snatched items from people hand, I asked him to bring his forks and it literally took him 10 minutes to bring the forts back and I guess maybe he had a long day, but you still have a job to do at the end of the day.

What a lovely night to share good, friendship & meet new people! The chef was SO AMAZINGLY talented with his tools of the trade! You will be WOWED! And not go away hungry!

Too many ppl and kids in one room...so loud you could not speak to someone next to you. Waitress forgot to mark for cook that someone had a seafood allergy and after cooking the fried rice, one person stated no chicken only steak fried rice... cook threw out about three serving of rice, shameful he could have given them to other ppl at table since it hadn't left the grill yet... after that the waitress was absent and we had to ask for dessert to go since everyones food was already bagged up Food was quite salty and rice was burnt and crispy since cook left it cooking to ask that steak fried rice be cooked on the back. Not quite the atmosphere or quality we expected for the high price you pay. And don't even use the bathroom as they were put if soap, paper all over floor, little toilet paper

Previous experience was good that's why we returned. But this time was horrible. The stake meat was not fresh you can taste the stale. and the lobster was overcooked because the chef had no clue.

Not a good experience. They overbooked their reservations, the place was dirty and unorganized, the food was mediocre. Won't ever be back.

Honestly not worse the money. Kind of a terrible experience. Won't go back. I can get the same food for better and way cheaper.

Reservation was significantly overbooked. No place to park - not one space, seriously!! Entire lobby PACKED with people. Walked out.

I made a Christmas Day reservation over a month in advance and it took an hour to be seated and another hour to eat. Memo to self: Wrong place to dine on a holiday. Management needs to be realistic in the number of reservations that they accept and provide more timely service. They blamed it on being short of chefs but I have heard the same excuse before.

My wife and I went there for dinner and ate hibachi style. Our chef was ok but very hard to understand and not nearly as much of a presentation as the table next to us had. They were all out of Diet Coke and that was a bummer. I had steak & shrimp while my wife had steak & chicken. Food was cooked just right and had great flavor. Overall it was good but I feel there are better hibachi restaurants in the area.

I visit Benihana once a year or so. Generally a very nice experience with very good food. This visit was subpar for us. The table we were taken to had remnants of the last meal on the stovetop, and the chairs were covered with rice and other crumbs. Took some time to get staff to wipe the chairs before we could sit down. The waitress said they had new entrees, including Wagyu Filet, so being my birthday I thought I would splurge. It was not good. It was largely a slab of fat with some marbling of meat (instead of the other way around). It did not look like a filet at all, in size, shape or content. I should have stated with the normal filet. They have some work to do to improve cleanliness and food quality. it might be longer than normal before I return.

Not sure what was going on the night we went, the restaurant was dirty, the tables around us were not bussed with stacks of dishes piled high. There was food all over the floor. It was disgusting. Never again!

Made reservations weeks in advance - and they were late seating us by around 30 minutes. Had 6:30 dinner reservations for a party of six and didn't get out of there until 9:30pm. Food was extremely slow to arrive - dirty tables around us (at the hibachi) at one point the waitress came over and apologize for the food being slow and told us the delay was caused because they were washing bowls for our soup. I'm sorry for $75 a person you should be able to figure out how to have clean bowls. Also ordered an app and when they brought it out they said it was compliments of the server only to then charge me for it.

I initially wanted to take my husband to STK for his birthday since we are familiar with their menu, but he opted for Benihana. This is isn't my first experience with Benihana but it was my first time at this location. There was another girl and her friends sitting at the grill who was also celebrating her birthday. The wait time between getting our drinks, first course and then waiting for the "cooking show" to begin were longer than normal. Once the chef was done, I tipped him and minutes later the whole experience became odd. The server showed up with to go containers and paper bags. When she turned to my husband and me, my husband responded to her and said "My wife is still eating." Clearly she could see I was still eating. It Was after that moment that I felt rushed to finish my food. Then she started ringing up everyone's order to have us pay. The other party started to ask if they were going to get the "Birthday Wish" experience and the server said yes. After that, the server disappeared and the manager showed up to finish the transactions. My husband asked at what time they closed and he said "11:00pm", which my husband asked, "Why are we being rushed?" (it was only 8ish). He mumbled something and really didn't apologize. He offered my husband some birthday ice cream which we wound up giving to the other group. Normally, at the end of the meal, yes you can get dessert or you can get some green tea which no even that was offered. Needless to say, because the server disappeared, I wound up packing up my leftovers.I hope you understand that we cannot get this birthday back. I am sharing this because I believe a brand of Benihana's caliber should know when they have failed a guest so significantly on such an important occasion, We have long associated Benihana with high-energy, quality celebrations, but after this experience, that trust is broken. I look forward to hearing how you intend to make situations like this right.
