Modern looks with classic food. Try the Balkan Hash, so much food for the price!

Went today a 1 pm it was me and young couple and a gentleman that had ordered as I walked in. And well after waiting for 20 mins after I ordered 1 submarine sandwich to go. And still no food and only 3 other people there. Well reminder the 1st guy that was eating well it was only fries because they didn’t know to make chicken strips ?? And that other couple that sat down well he got his food but she didn’t because they had zero fruit and that was all she ordered. Well back to me after asking when my sub would be done the Waitress said he was almost done making it. How ever THEY DID NOT HAVE TWO OF THE 3 meats for the sandwich yet he was “almost done” I mean come on how in the middle of the day you can be out of something for 3 out of 4 customers and mess up the 4th guys order ?? I will never even try this place again.

Went to Gateway on the day they opened and had The D burger: it was so good that I wanted to write a 5-star review immediately but the location was not yet showing on Google Maps. Now I can do so, obviously! I have been back several times since and have not been disappointed. Our most recent discovery has been the chili, which is hands-down the best chili that I have tasted at any diner ever. It tastes homemade, which is a compliment. It is extremely rich in flavor and is definitely a must-have.The staff are great and the owner has come over to the table every time that I have been there to get feedback on the food and ensure that everything is satisfactory. I really hope that Gateway Deli is successful, because the standard of food that they put out means that it certainly deserves to be. Looking forward to more deliciousness in the near future!

Let’s get to the point. Food is outstanding! Burgers are better than any fancy restaurant. Try the pastrami and their homemade soups!! Whose in the back?? Because the food tastes like it’s from some Michelin chef. I think it’s mom and pop run, and honestly the food tastes like home. Real ingredients, real taste. I brought the whole family for lunch and we were treated like family. I’m having them cater next week for brothers birthday. I heard they have a place downtown Detroit. For what you get, the prices are very reasonable. Love! Can’t wait to go back!

Awesome new spot!!! Amazing homemade soups - best chicken noodle I have ever had! If you’re looking for fresh tuna, pastrami or corned beef, this is the spot!! Owner is around and he seems like a great guy.

If you want fresh food and quality ingredients this is the place to go. When people cook with passion it shows. I had the Reuben sandwich and it was amazing. Lean cut corned beef on grilled deli rye. Can’t wait to come back.

We used Gateway to cater an associate appreciation lunch. The food was delicious, there was a large variety of sandwich options, and the service was fantastic. It is a great place to stop in for lunch or breakfast if you’re in the Troy/Madison Heights/Warren area.

I’m from NYC and this was my favorite stop of my trip. Owner was originally from nyc, had a great conversation with him. My Breakfast was very good and tasty. My husband had a turkey Rueben and he loved it! Prices are fantastic.

What a great new restaurant! Fabulous Deli with lots of options! Great soups, I had the Pastrami and Corned beef on rye with coleslaw and Russian dressing! What a pleasant surprise. Within walking distance from Beaumont.

Great breakfast! Super friendly staff, chef even came out of the back to recommend some tweaks to my omelette. I’m usually skeptical of places that have changed ownership but this place is good to go! Best version of what it has ever been. Give them your business, they’ve earned mine.

The cook named Peter was very nice. The restaurant is very clean! The food was amazing. The breakfast was made with real potatoes. Eggs and sausage were nice and hot. Even the toast was good..

Gateway Deli combines quality service and food in an elegance that is unmatched for the price point. The chef came out after I ordered my omelette and asked if I would like something on it that wasn't on the menu and proceeded to check on the food during the meal. 11/10
