The absolute best! I've been eating here since my dad would take me on weekends as a little kid. One of my favorites for sure. I'm very thankful for being able to enjoy hippo dogs for the last 20+ years.
I'm only giving this 3 stars because I've heard the hot dogs are amazing and I plan on going back to try them. As for the beef sandwich.... absolutely terrible. Probably one of the worst things I've tried in my life. The bread was so soggy like it was soaked in water, and the smell of whatever was on it was so pungent that it made me throw everything away except for the actual beef that I ate by itself just to get something out of the money I paid. I wish I didn't...
I love this place. The best Cancun Sausage ever. They were out this time so I substituted for the Italian sausage. My family and I frequent this place alot in the past but moved away. I miss going but when I'm in the area, I try to grab a couple dogs. Go try them out!
