Food was good but it was VERY WARM in here. Was sweating the entire time!

A friend was having a chicken contest for her birthday - that is, a bunch of us brought fried chicken from different places to try - which gave me an excuse to try Hola Seoul's chicken. First off: there's no actual Hola Seoul location, it's located inside Dae Jang Keum (sp?). When you arrive, there's a table for pickup, but it's actually for DoorDash and GrubHub drivers, so I asked an employee and he went and found my takeout. Not sure if they're understaffed like everywhere else during COVID but it took a long time for someone to come over and ask me if I wanted to sit and eat or if I was there for pickup. Also I ordered online and originally was planning on going around 630pm on a Friday - however, Hola Seoul stops doing orders around 5pm Fridays to Sundays, apparently; DJK is still open for Korean BBQ at night those days though. As for the chicken: the double crunch (it's fried twice) was quite nice. The soy garlic flavor was tasty but was lacking a little bit - I usually like my wings with more sauce. One of the girls at the chicken tasting had a small allergic reaction to the wings, also - she's not allergic to soy or garlic so I'm wondering it was the gochujang, which I believe is in it. YMMV though - the rest of us didn't have issues with it. Overall I'd come back here again for wings although it's a bit pricey - $17 before tip for a medium-sized portion.

Food tasted great. However, I did bite down on a long piece of what looked like metal sponge or Brillo pad in a Spicy Pork Taco. Chew with caution as there are other reviews of non-food items found in food here.

They have really good fried chicken! And Korean barbecue is really great! If your a beginner at barbecuing there they will help!

Came here because we heard about their famous Korean Fried chicken. All they had was wings and popcorn chicken. They were out of drums and thighs...Had 4 different servers come and ask if we were ready to order after we had told the others we needed a few minutes. We decided to eat somewhere else and they charged us for a coke that we didn't even drink.

The skin on the wings is super crispy, the sauces are sticky-goodness, I love both the soy garlic and the korean sassy sauces, so thankfully they offer half and half. I think the giant steamed dumplings may be better in person (due to the panny, I was getting delivery), but the deep fried dumplings are quite good! I always get an extra side of pickled radish because it’s a fave of mine and they do it right.

After a long day of traveling, I'd stopped by this Korean fried chicken place to pick up dinner and next day's lunch. I can said the chicken wings do hold up, still crispy the next day. The bento is more than enough for two along with the bimibap. The flavors are consistent with what I'd had over in Seoul, some of the side dishes are off but that's life.

I gave it a four star because the pick up was a little long and confusing but overall the food was really good it was flavorful not like anything I've ever tasted before it had a nice amount of cake which was nice it was different and I will definitely try it again

apparently no one inside speaks english here. their kitchen doesn't open till 11:30a. their automated emails will tell you to wait till an hour after they say they open to pick up your food, even though it's been ready for at least 20-25m just soggying itself out while you wait with groceries melting. I tried to tell them they need to improve their notification process they both just walked away from me. customer service here is non-existent if you don't speak korean I guess ??‍♀️their fried chicken is tough and dry, like chewing on the bottom of a shoe

This place is a GEM. The food is exceptionally good. Their flavors are amazing! The steamed dumplings remind me of holiday stuffing; the fried ones are like a delicious crunchy spring roll. The fried popcorn chicken is seriously some of the best fried chicken I've ever tried. The tacos were delicious too, and did not need cheese at all! We ordered through my company and everything was clearly labeled, packaged with care, and our order was 100% correct. I'm just so blown away by the incredible care and attention these folks are putting into what they do. Highly recommend!!

The best Korean spot we've found and not just a spicy pork and bulgogi menu. Service is spotty though and it's not based on what you spend. It a Korea thing and plenty used to it having lived there a bit. Still the chow is legit like we were sitting in Pyeongtaek with friends again.

Pay with cash don't give your card to these people. If I could give 0 stars I would. The young guy that rang me up he took my card and tried to steal my information and thought I wasn't looking. He pointed my card and flipped it towards the camera so it could see the back of my card on camera and everything then he said his name was "John". If anything comes up on my card I will be going straight to the police and have this restaurant shut down.
